About this house rental

Conveniently located between Lexington and Bellville, you'll feel right at home the minute you walk into this awesome hunting themed, ranch style home that is situated on 2+ private acres. Large living area with comfortable seating, a 50" screen TV and DVD player. Fully applianced kitchen has everything you need to prepare your next meal (except for the food!) , roomy dining area with sliders to a covered porch and access to the gas grill. Two of the bedrooms have a queen size bed as well as a twin bed, and the third bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is also a roll-away bed in the master suite closet. 2 full baths. Mud room has washer and dryer. Easy access from Interstate 71, only 6.5 miles to Snow Trails, 8.5 miles to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, and 10 miles to downtown Mansfield.

This was our 2nd stay here while attending the super bike races at Mid Ohio Sports Track. Both of our stays have been amazing. The check in process has always been so easy and the house is so welcoming. Thank you for another great weekend getaway.

I really liked the decor. However the kitchen cabinets around the sink were full of mold. We decided we would have to eat out rather than cook anything there. Definitely got into our budget. We didn’t even want to open them after the discovery which was on arrival. Pretty disappointing to say the least.

This place had decor that my whole family enjoyed. Definitely nature inspired. Perfect view of the Eclipse on April 8, 2024. We were in Columbia, South Carolina in 2017 for the totality eclipse. Great deck and large yard. Six adults ranging in age from 60 to 73. Three sisters and their spouses. It is the perfect hunting Lodge for those who are interested. Could accommodate 8 Adults plus the wonderful couch. There was 2 kinds of coffee makers, Keurig and regular and even K-cups. The kitchen was well equipped. The owners were very responsive to my questions about the area. Only stayed 3 nights but it was great. Would definitely go back again.

My wife and I just wanted a few days of quiet with our two puppies, and this was perfect! The puppies (two year old Jack Russells) loved the yard to run around in and smell the wood piles. This location is a peaceful retreat from the hussle and bussle. I enjoyed quiet breakfasts on the back porch listening to birds chirping. Another member of our group found a nice walking trail nearby. Some might find it a little too peaceful, the provided Wifi internet did not seem to be up to the task of streaming, and all in our group had occasional difficulty with basic browsing on both Wifi and our personal mobile networks. The property is described somewhere as hunting themed. This is very much true, vegetarians/vegans/anyone not comfortable with taxidermy or fake antlers should probably steer clear.

This is a wonderful, clean home equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay! Beautiful, private yard. We were attending a racing event at Mid-Ohio Racecourse and the home is very conveniently located. Would definitely go back!

We visited MidOhio race track and stayed at this property for a week and really loved it! Nice, quiet location, close to the track and some good food places near by ! Very clean, lovely and highly maintained house with a unique character! Only thing on the wish list is faster Internet for days few of us needed to be on Zoom all day. We will be back!

We were in town for our daughter’s basketball tournament for several days. It was such a pleasure to be able to have space to relax in a cozy and inviting home rather than being stuck in a hotel room. The total price was actually less than two rooms at a modest hotel would have been, so the bonus of having a kitchen and nice living room was much more comfortable. We liked the hunting lodge feel, and the huge yard was great on the one warm March day we had. I would stay again if we ever are in the area. Hilda was very helpful when we weren’t sure how to work the lock on the door, and she was happy to recommend area restaurants by text when we contacted her. Plenty of towels and necessities for an enjoyable stay. I definitely recommend this property!

The house was very clean and the beds were the most comfortable I have slept in. The property was exactly as listed. I didn't speak to the owner often, but our one call was pleasant and she provided the necessary information and answered questions promptly by email. The view from the back deck overlooking the large back yard was the best part of my stay. I enjoyed sitting out each morning. The house is very hunter-focused, but if that is not your favorite decor, you will still enjoy this home.
