About this cabin rental
Hidden on 12 acres in the heart of Mohican Country, this beautiful log home is the perfect getaway for those who are looking to relax in the country and visit Mohican Park, Malabar Farm, Amish Country or Snow Trails Ski Resort. With 12 acres, you'll find peace and quiet as well as plenty of room to run. The large stock pond offers a pedal boat as well as easy fishing with no license required! The cabin itself has over 2000 sq ft of finished living area (not counting an unfinished basement) with 5 private bedrooms with queen beds, 3 baths, a huge great room with a magnificent floor to ceiling stone fireplace and 60" flatscreen TV, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, loft area and game room in the basement with pool table and bar. There are two sofas in the living room. There is a daybed with trundle in the loft (we count as the 6th bedroom). A queen bed and twin over twin bunk bed are also in the basement bedroom. There is a pool table and a bar also in the basement. The 40ft front porch has swings and rockers and offers beautiful views of the property, pond and rolling country hills. Looking for a great place for an outdoor wedding, family reunion or other party? The lodge offers acres of green area around the pond that is perfect for tents and tables. Plus long driveway with a turn-around and a hayfield allows plenty of parkingWifi is available and there is also a generator in case of power outages. Best of all, the cabin is located within 10 miles Malabar Farm, Mohican State Park, Local Canoe Liveries, Prairie Peddler and Pleasant Hill Lake.

Cabin stay was absolutely magical. The land itself was peaceful and amazing. Everything was provided in the kitchen for cooking, even had a grill! The pool table was a hit among friends who love to play.

The cabin was amazing. Plenty of room, and the kitchen was well stocked. The fire pit and the grill, and the outdoor patio were great. The stocked pond was where we spent a ton of time! We loved catching the bluegill and the bass! The homemade cookies and muffins were a pleasant surprise and tasted delicious! The owners are top notch hosts!

Very nice, our family had a great time. We especially enjoyed fishing and peddle boating. Hanging around the fire seeing all the stars in the sky was an added bonus. The house had everything we needed, we plan to make this a yearly trip.

I had rented the cabin for an early Xmas present for my adult children and grandbabies. We absolutely loved the property and all the amenities. We got some great family time together and made some wonderful memories. Cabin was beautiful and exceeded my expectations. The kids loved the pond to fish and grandkids loved the paddle boat. We loved the fire pit and loved making s'more's & cooking out on the patio. Basement was an awesome hang out and kids loved playing pool! My daughter had brought her dog and she absolutely loved running around the property with the grandkids. This cabin was larger and more room than we could have imagined. Absolutely had the best time
