The apartment had a kitchen where we prepared our meals. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. The studio apartment was located within walking distance of the French language school we attended and little places to get food supplies.

The parking in the area is terrible. One space is provided below the unit and has a special electric riser to block non residents from entering it. We had to hunt for a place to park in the crowded neighborhood before we could get into the building to get the key and parking control to take back to the car and then drive to the parking space to disarm the blocking device. A neighbor was helpful in reaching the mother of the owner to give me directions in getting into the building. It was a very inconvenient process. the microwave did not function well. The shower handle was cracked and did not stay in place. I had to use a wire to hold the shower handle in place to keep it from falling over.
