Experience the beauty and ambiance of the uncrowded sandy beaches and tidal pools to explore. At Capehaven you will be immersed in the true essence of the Oregon coast experience. The secluded Arch Cape beach offers the beauty and privacy that is hard to match on the Oregon Coast.
Capehaven is uniquely located at the end of very quiet dead end lane, bordered on the north with undeveloped land with trees and natural vegetation. The beach is an easy 90 second walk along the lane to a short sandy path straight to the beach. During the summer months we have a beach side fire pit with beach chairs that we create early summer.
Arch Cape is special in that you can take a short walk south on the beach to Arch Cape creek which meets the ocean, or you can walk an approximate mile north to amazing Hug Point State Park with it beautiful waterfall and sandstone caves. A five-minute drive takes you into Cannon Beach with its unique shops, art galleries and the famous Haystack Rock. Five miles to the south of Capehaven is Oswald State Park, a popular surfing spot, and few more miles south of the park is the quaint beach town of Manzanita.
This tastefully decorated home has four decks - three are covered (one with a propane barbeque) the two west front decks have an outstanding ocean view. The warm tasteful décor, open floor plan, radiant heated floors throughout the home and gourmet kitchen with sweeping ocean views makes "Capehaven" the perfect home for an Oregon coast retreat.
We think you will enjoy Capehaven's unique backyard oasis with its gazebo covered HOT TUB, fire pit, and the relaxing sound of the babbling creek flowing by the outdoor shower. Its a great place to hangout after a day on the beach. As one of our guests said in their review "Just bring groceries there's no reason to go anywhere else" pretty much says it all!
On a stormy day you can relax in front of the cozy fireplace in the large comfortable living room watching the waves crash against Castle Rock.
Enjoy your favorite music using bluetooth connection to the living room sound system or play CD's from our collection.
This classy ocean view home has 3 large bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a comfortable pull out sofa bed in the family room and a day bed in the multipurpose room. The house features four decks (2 ocean view, 2 garden view) are completely furnished for comfortable seating or dining. Amenities include, radiant heated floors through-out, original artwork in each room, tasteful furnishings and décor. The master suite has a large private bathroom and walk-in master shower.
This home is designed with attention to detail featuring, all cooking and meal essentials, condiments and soft fluffy towels, luxury soap, shampoo and 500 thread count sheets. Our guests also love the excellent selection of family games, puzzles, movies, book, smart speakers and lots of sand toys and kites.

I had to wait a couple days after we made it home to leave this review because I find myself still getting emotional about what a wonderful time we had. The location is stunning, the house is immaculate, Mr. Lowe’s labeling system is top notch, and the cd player and dvd setup were exactly what my husband and I needed to unplug from the world. They were so fun to introduce our daughter. Thank you a million times Mr. Lowe you helped us make memories to last a lifetime. Arch Cape is etched on our hearts forever.

House clean, beds comfortable, plenty of towels, beautiful/calming view. Plenty of room for all of us to be together but allowing spaces for games, TV viewing, meals, hanging out.

This was our second stay at the house, and we plan on staying here when we return again next year! The house is always very clean and comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need (even a spice drawer), and the bathrooms are well stocked as well with toiletries. The location is perfect. Always a great stay!

While the inside of the house was fairly clean, the outside needed some attention. The hot tub was filled with ant nests along the inside of the cover. Wiping down all outside chairs and tables and door frames would help tremendously. Nothing was usable until this was done. The inside was fairly clean. Room windows could not be opened. Latches were broken and turn handles fell apart when trying to use them. Temperature control in the house was challenging.
