About this cottage rental
Beachfront cottage on beautiful Goose Rocks Beach. Built in 1896, Emery Cottage has been in the family for 6 generations. It is truly a hidden treasure on Goose Rocks and is featured in many works of art which you’ll probably see in some of the local shops. Emery Cottage has three bedrooms, one bath, kitchen, dining/living area and a sunroom with an amazing view. Cozy, comfortable, clean and simply charming!
The front porch is a great place to relax, read and enjoy a cool drink after a long day on a very private part of the beach. Four strides off the porch and you are on your way down the stairs to the soft sands of Goose Rocks. The beach is perfect for lively games or for peaceful walks. Just down the beach you will find amazing tide pools, rock formations and plenty of unique shells along the way.
The world-famous Tides Beach Club and it’s award-winning restaurants is 0.5 miles away, the General Store and gift shop is a short 0.2 mile walk, the beautiful coastal village of Cape Porpoise with its incredible views and restaurants is 7 minutes away and the famous Dock Square in Kennebunkport is only 11 minutes away. Kennebunkport is a dockside village famous for the numerous shops full of local craftspeople, artisans, gifts, clothing, incredible food and it’s all accessible on foot.
Along the way, make sure to stop at the viewing area of Walker Point. Here you will find unending views of the Atlantic and the stunning rocky sea walls which are so unique to the Maine coastline.

We had a great time and wish it was longer at GRB. It rained one day but we found several things to go do and see. The cottage was small but we loved it! Linda was a great host.

Spectacular sunrises and sunsets over the Goose rocks, wildlife abound including birds and best of all seals. Property sits on a protected cove. House has a well equipped kitchen, beautiful oceanfront views from dining room, kitchen, living and sun room. Great front porch and small yard on beach side. Quiet and peaceful sandy beach getaway. Cape Porpoise 7 minute drive 4 food and groceries. 11 minutes to central Kennebunkport with shops and restaurants. Nature abound with beautiful Maine coastlines. Portland just 35 minutes to north makes for a great day trip. If you desire an authentic Maine beachfront rustic cottage look no further, host's family has owned for 6 generations and my wife and I felt honored to stay there.
