Relax in this peaceful, well-stocked cabin near the Deschutes River.
Our beautifully-maintained cabin combines log furniture and craftsman touches with the convenience of modern essentials such as luxury bath and shower, Wifi, flatscreen TV (streaming & DVDs). Free SHARC and recreation passes are provided. The cabin has two queen bedrooms & bunkbeds in a separate loft.
The cabin is located in the quieter northern end of Sunriver. You'll be near the river and bike paths, in a large and peaceful forested lot, but with easy access to pools, golf and shopping.
The cabin has one bedroom with queen bed is on the ground floor, next to a large, newly-renovated bathroom with luxury bath. The master bedroom is upstairs with queen bed and newly-renovated bathroom with a gorgeous tile shower.
The loft closes with a screen door and has log bunkbeds that are perfect for children. There is an additional double futon mattress and a sofa-bed in the living room. The cabin ideally sleeps 6, but if you have small children 8 works well (4 adults + 4 children).
The vaulted living room is full of light from the roof-to-floor windows, offering views of the pine trees surrounding the cabin. The living room is overlooked by a log balcony upstairs, and contains two couches, reclining armchair, gas fire, flat-screen TV and DVD player. There are log cabin touches throughout.
The large and newly-installed deck offers peaceful seating, dining, and a gas BBQ.
The cabin is cozy enough for a couple, but works well for two families. We thoughtfully provide what you need for a perfect vacation, from a well-stocked kitchen to games cupboard and hiking/biking books.
The cabin has 6 adult bikes and 2 children' bikes you can use to ride around the pathways in Sunriver, including the trails in the Deschutes National Forest over the nearby bridge.
The Deschutes River is a very short walk away, with lovely views from the bridge at Cardinal Landing. It's just a short bike ride to the nature center, observatory, Marina, and horse stables. Within a mile you will also find Woodlands golf course. The North Marketplace store is within easy distance, and SHARC aquatic center is 1 3/4 miles away. The SHARC passes give you access to the pools and tubing hill, all tennis facilities, and the parking lot & boat launch at Sunriver Marina.
Take advantage of the cabin's location near a natural boat take-out on the Deschutes River. You can hire different craft at the Marina, or put your own boat in the river at the Marina (or further up-river) and bring it out close to the cabin at Cardinal Landing bridge. You don't have to worry about transport to bring your boat back upstream!
When it snows, remember you can cross-country ski from the cabin door onto nearby forest trails across the bridge at Cardinal Landing, or around the resort. Skiing at Mount Bachelor is a firm winter favorite.

We had another wonderful stay here. The property is well situated in Sunriver near the river and bike trails. The house is very comfortable and stock with most everything one could need on vacation.
