Overall a lovely place to stay.The welcome of.basic items such water and fruit was a nice touch The connection to the internet on our phones and tablet helped.The recommendation of the local-fish restaurant was spot on. we enjoyed our meals there. Struggled with the tv reception. This was solved by using our home code for Netflix..We were very happy with our stay at this property.

We stayed month. The apartment is simply furnished, but you definitely have everything you need. The stove, fridge and washing machine all worked super. The fly screens in front of all the windows and doors were particularly practical. The barbecue on the terrace is also great and we used it a lot. :-) There are a few steps inside and outside, but you quickly get used to them and don't stumble anymore. We definitely recommend a rental car. The apartment is located in a small mountain village and the bus connections are quite irregular. Sometimes you are lucky, sometimes you have to wait 3 hours at the bus stop... In the next city (Las Chafiras) there is an Aldi that is actually always open and in the village itself you can at least buy water, because you can't drink that on the Canary Islands ;-) If you like being out and about and don't want to sit in your apartment all the time, the accommodation is great. The only drawback was the internet. Although the description says that it works great, it often didn't work. The router is in the house next door, which is why you can't restart it yourself, but have to wait until the landlord arrives (but he was there quickly when we let him know). I had to work for a few days and the internet is useless for that. If you want to google something or look at Instagram in between, it's good enough for that, but Video-Calls for example doesn't work and the connection often dops out. Knowing that, we would definitely come back :-)

Wir waren 2 Wochen in Las Zochas. Ein unbedeutender Ort, was aber von uns explizit ausgewählt war. Trotz Flughafen Nähe war davon überhaupt nichts zu hören. Da wir wandern, war die Lage super. Zu allen Touren nur kurze Fahrzeit mit dem Mietwagen. Dadurch auch die nur wenig entfernten Supermärkte gut zu erreichen. Die Spanier bauen natürlich immer, so dass wir vom Nachbarhaus mit Baulärm konfrontiert wurden. Die Wohnung präsentierte sich wie auf den Bildern. Natürlich sieht man vor Ort das die Renovierung schon eine Weile her ist und Benutzungszeichen deutlich sichtbar sind. Den Kühlschrank, Waschmaschine fand ich etwas oll, sonst konsequent IKEA Style und spanische Fliesenkühle von Kopf bis Fuß. Das muss man wissen und was warmes zum anziehen dabei haben. Es gab EINEN kleinen Heizlüfter der uns etwas behagliche Atmosphäre an den Abenden verschaffte. Natürlich ist im Januar auch bisschen Winter auf den Kanaren. Also eine einfache Wohnung mit gutem Preis Leistung Verhältnis. Für 2 Wochen würde ich sie allerdings nicht nochmal mieten. Es fehlte einfach mehr Gemütlichkeit. Aber das ist ein allgemeines Problem bei spanischen Unterkünften.
