APARTMENT IN AMARILLA GOLF 2 bedrooms

Apartment is nice and comfy. We liked swimminng pool.

The noise from planes landing. We knew that the aparrment is close to the Airport, but didnt expect that to be that noisy. Also, getting into apartment was a bit stressful, the instruccions didnt include number of the apartment, just description of surroundings of the apartment, but we arrived late a night, so we couldnt see anything. Also, bc. we arrived after check-in hrs owner was available only on phone and took a while to get hold of her.

We were very late in arriving after our flight from Glasgow was diverted to Faro for a while. As a result we didn't get there until well after midnight. No problem as Silvia had left the keys in a lock box. The apartment was exactly as described - immaculately clean with lots of added extras: toiletries, filtered water tap and even a wee dram of whisky in the fridge to help our frayed nerves! Communication with Silvia was excellent and she went to great pains to emphasise that she was happy to help with anything she could. She had left lots of suggestions for local places to eat and also to buy supplies. Wifi was excellent and the pool (I counted I walked 120 paces from the apartment) was very quiet with plenty of umbrellas and comfortable sun loungers. The apartment was easy to find and had ample parking outside - not always the case in the area. The planes do fly overhead when coming in to land however this was not a problem for us as we quickly tuned them out and they don't appear to fly later in the evening. We have family in the area but like to have our own space when we visit. Silvia's apartment fitted the bill perfectly. We'll be back.
