There is abundant entertainment and living space that includes two dining and living areas allowing guests options when spending vacation time with family or friends. For even more entertainment space, head to the lower level family room where you can play a spirited game of Foosball or spend a cozy night in watching TV on the flat screen TV by a warm fire. We stayed at the Highlands house as an extended family of 9 from Florida to enjoy a winter vacation. The house was located nicely for all of our activities. Wal-Mart, Safeway and Frisco Adventure Park were a short drive north, and Breckenridge was a short drive to the south. The house was spacious. Everyone had a bed and most had their own private bath. Fireplaces around the house made for warm and cozy ambiance. The kids were able to play in the ample snow right in the yard and a couple of sleds were in the garage for their use. We rented 2 vehicles for our stay and we’re glad to be able to park both in the enclosed garage.

The house was nice and in a great location for going to different ski hills. It would have been nice if the deck area was cleared of snow so we could enjoy our coffee on the deck. The front entryway was also not shoveled and cleared to walk up. That was disappointing because you would think the house would be prepared so you could enjoy all of its features and not have to only use the garage on the bottom level to enter. Also small things like one small roll of paper towels and one box of tissue paper for an entire week with 6 guests was totally inadequate. We had to go out and buy our own house supplies. Bedsheets in master bedroom were dirty with stains when we first arrived. The water temperature in all the bathrooms were not consistent. The water temperatures changed from hot to cold continuously while showering even when only the one shower was being used.
