The property was pet friendly, the view was gorgeous, cabin is very clean, the WiFi worked well. The beds were very comfortable. The location was very peaceful and not too far from amenities. Easy to get to a beautiful hike on the Mineral Trail. The 10 digit lock code was a bit much. Otherwise all was very good.

After the 3rd try we finally gained access to the residence. The first thing we noticed was a stench that immediately cause a headache for me and an allergic reaction for my daughter. The smell is coming from the hot water tank and is called hydrogen sulfide, a rotten egg smell. Not my idea of the aroma of country living. This smell has attracted flies in the area and as soon as the door is open in they come like a flood. There wwer 50 flies in the house when we arrived. The last thing I expected when begining my Vacasa vacation was that i would have to engage in pest control. I reported my concerns to Vacasa through text, was promised a reply, but received none. The refrigerator, upper portion, was froze over and was not functioning. The stench, the flies and a malfunctioning refrigerator left an impression that I, we, will not soon forget. Those who manage this property need to step up their game.We were asked to be shoeless in the house. That is all and good but what were the lumps I felt while walking on the rug in the kitchen? It was obvious that either another tenant or the management cleaning team simply swept all the debris literally under the rug. Without a dustpan readily available i suppose someone thought that was the next best thing. The cleaning crew simply did not catch this so it was left for.the next vacationer to discover. The views were wonderful and the HVAC systems preformed fantastic. This review is solely for the management team and possibly the owner
