About this house rental
Make cherished memories that will last forever when you treat your family to an island vacation in this 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom vacation home located in the beautiful Shipyard on Hilton Head Island. Gloucester 79 is a beautiful Shipyard home that will not disappoint!
Upon entering the home you will be greeted by a southern style front porch complete with rocking chairs, perfect for sipping sweet tea! As you make your way inside, the formal dining room is located on the right with seating for 6. An entry from the dining room opens to the recently renovated kitchen complete with hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, white cabinetry, granite countertops, and all of your cooking essentials. An eat-in counter with seating for 3 and a breakfast table with seating for 4 are perfect for eating on the go! Also in this area is a sliding door that leads to the deck that is shared with the living room.
Your group will want to spend most of their time in the sunny living room complete with wall to ceiling windows, cathedral ceilings, a decorative dual sided fireplace that also opens to the breakfast nook, a 55" flat screen TV, and a peek-a-boo window that opens to the loft above. The large couch, 2 club chairs with an ottoman, and extra stools offer plenty of seating for the whole group to gather and discuss the day's activities.
Also on the first level is two of the four bedrooms and a laundry room with full size washer and dryer. The master suite offers a king bed, TV, private bath with double sinks, a large walk-in shower and also a private deck with views of the golf course. Bedroom #2 features a queen bed and private entry to the bath with a tub shower that can also be entered through the hall.
Up to the second floor are two more bedrooms and a loft with a TV that overlooks the living room. Bedroom #3 has 2 twin beds and bedroom #4 includes a double bed and 2 twin bunk beds. A full bath with double sinks, a stand up shower, and enclosed toilet area can be accessed from the loft.
Last but not least, one of the best features of this Shipyard Plantation home is the private pool with jacuzzi tub that can be heated for an additional fee. A large table with seating for 6 is perfect for outdoor meals made on the gas grill. House is as advertised and with plenty of room for our family of 8. Kitchen is well supplied and the beds are comfortable. Communication was speedy and helpful with our questions. The Shipyards location is excellent and its a beautiful community. Pool and hot tub was awesome after a long beach day. Would definitely stay here again.

Home was spacious for our party of 7. Master bedroom was huge and the master bath was really nice. The overall location was nice and close to pretty much everything you will need as far as groceries, shopping, dining out and bars. We took the bikes out daily which was nice. Large kitchen and overall nice layout of the home.

The home is perfect if you are looking for a great location with a pool and space for a large family of 10. There were some cleanliness issues in the beginning but were resolved quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

This house was nearly perfect for our family, mix of adults, teens and two small children. Didn't feel cramped at all during our stay. Pool was nice, our kids used it almost every day. Management company was accommodating when we asked to have the pool cleaned because pine needles are everywhere. Our only gripe is that the cleaning crew needs some improvement, we found crumbs on the floor, cabinets needed to be wiped down and the dish washer was in need of a major deep clean. Other than that the management company was quick to respond to our guest pass request and stayed in constant communication with us. Enjoyed the beach gear option as well!
