Historic Beachfront Villa, Saltwater Pool & Breathtaking Ocean Views l 14 guests

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Horizon. The communications were easy and on point. Check in/out instructions were very thorough. The house is generally well equipped for a large group, including 2 kitchens, plenty of bedding and bathroom supplies, as well as lots of activity equipment (e.g., surf and knee boards, beach chairs, bikes, lots of pool/beach towels). Felix, the onsight manager, was responsive to a number of issues that arose during our stay, including water leaking into one of the bedrooms from rain storms, the washing machine leaking, and some unwelcome indoor critters (crabs and a large spider). There were also a few other water leaks during afternoon rain storms. The upstairs unit had plenty of hot water for showers, but the lower unit only had luke-warm water during our stay. The house is located on the beach as advertised, but note that the beach is quite narrow and not very walkable in one direction from the house, and the water is very rough with lots of debris so plan to drive to other beaches if you stay here. Perhaps just the time of year we visited, but the ocean was very brown due to how rough the water was.

Beautiful house located directly on the beach. House is located in a quiet area that is very nice and safe. The property manager, Felix, is fantastic. He was right there for any questions and very accommodating. The water directly behind the house is great for surfing/boogie boarding with a nice reef break just to the south. Free diving/snorkeling is decent but Shack's beach is only about 20 minutes away for some very nice reefs. We also booked a fishing charter down in Cabo Rojo with great success, only about 40 minutes away. Many of the good hikes were also pretty close so the house is centrally located on the west coast and works great to see the north, south, and inland areas.

Excellent for our needs grandparents celebrating 50th wedding anniversary with 5 grandchildren and there parents of 4 adults. Location is excellent beach front beautiful view beach in front of house.Smaller children enjoyed salt water pool with provide bikes ,tubes and beach chairs. I can honestly say best house I ever rented anywhere beds and furniture very comfortable. Owner and property manager Felix gave immediate service. Aguadilla is quiet location and better suited than Rincon for quiet traffic free location you will thoroughly enjoy this house.

When we arrived, the pool was not heated. It was advertised as a heated pool. I contacted the owner and he says the heater just broke. Why didn’t he tell us? And he couldn’t fix it for a week. That would be our entire stay. I was livid but what could we do? He should have told us and given us a discount. When you pay this much you want what you paid for. Then the supposed spa turns out to be a bath tub with jets that don’t work. Then the next day while my daughter is taking a shower the toilet backs up and there was poop all over the bathroom and hall floors. We turned off the water to the toilet but there was poop everywhere!! Then the toilet in the master bath runs through all night. Then some Tank on the roof starts running and runs every few minutes which can be heard in all the bedrooms on the second floor. The water in the downstairs shower was not hot and it was a trickle. The ground keeper, Felix, was our savior. He came immediately when we called about the toilet overflowing and cleaned up that night and disinfected the floors. He got the jets in the non-spa working, he fixed the toilet that was running through. He fixed things. He was wonderful and came very fast. But the point is they were issues we had to deal with and we shouldn’t have had them. Who want to take time out of their vacation to deal with poop on the floor and toilets running all night and a cold swimming pool. By the way, the part did come the morning of the last day we were there
