About this apartment rental
Clean, spacious and affordable 1st floor duplex 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths [re-modeled], sleeps 6 in the quiet south end of Ocean city! Perfect location at 39 St on the OCEAN side of West Ave. 2 blocks from one of the least crowded beaches on the island. Talk to the owner and get a free Hobie cat/catamaran ride [see picture]. Short walk to 34th Street Stores/restaurants. Acme, Wawa, CVS, tennis courts, and huge playground. Uncle Bills Pancake house @ 40th street
Large Master bedroom with 2 double-size beds with 1/2 master bathroom. 2nd bedroom with two twins and queen-size sleeper sofa. Newly remodeled fully equipped kitchen.
Exterior and interior shower [enclosed] - Hot and Cold to wash off the beach sand! Beach chairs and umbrellas available for your use. Beach tags included with additional deposit for anyone older than 12 years old and will be returned at the end of your stay. Enclosed garage for secure storage e.g., bike storage. Covered porch with table, chairs and lounge chair to watch gorgeous sunsets [see pictures].
Beds come with mattress covers, bedspreads and pillows. Renters must supply all sheets, pillow cases, and towels.

***The unit is NON-SMOKING and NO PETS are allowed.
***Please NO High School Senior Weekers, Spring Break, or Prom parties! No Group Parties. No Subletting to High School Senior.

Great experience! I can’t say enough about how much communication we had with Allan . He was awesome! He gave us inside scoop on great places for eating and entertainment. He knows his stuff for sure! Even gave us insight on “beaching”. On a cooler overcast day there, he even reminded me to use sunblock on my family because we would still burn and he was so right! (Ask my forehead and shoulders ha!)
He stays in the condo upstairs and made himself easily available without being in our faces the entire time. Super cool guy and very down to earth! He had a garage stocked with beach chairs and other beach items he allowed us to use during our stay (that may not be for everyone lol! Maybe we were just cool enough heheh!) We had full access to washer and dryer in the garage as well.
We also had a parking space behind the condo just for us! Super nice on busy weekends when parking is hard to come by.
The condo was very nice and well kept. We were the first to use the brand new fridge! The heating/cooling could be set differently for each room! My husband likes living in an ice box but it freezes everyone else out! well…not this time!
The natural lighting that poured through the two sliders at the front of the property was a plus for me! At night we’d draw the curtains for plenty privacy.
Plenty of sleeping room. The two double beds in the bigger room were a little too hard for me but everyone is different! Ask Goldilocks hehe! My kids on the other hand didn’t mind it.
To address the musty smell someone mentioned in another post…This is a beach condo. If you’ve ever spent much time in beach hotels or rentals, it’s similar across the board. It wasn’t musty…just beachy if you get my drift. We simply lit a few candles, added a plug in and viola!
Plenty of closet space and storage.
We will definitely be back to stay for years to come. Thanks Allan!!

Pros: awesome proximity to ocean and restaurants, cooperative and responsive property owner, clean kitchen and bathrooms, good AC.
*Cons: strong musty smell throughout, and full-sized mattresses are rock hard and in crinkly plastic.
Safe and affordable, but the moisture problem would have changed my mind.
