About this cabin rental
Enjoy the woods and the water in Cabin 8! Fall asleep to the rustle of leaves and spend your day swimming, boating or fishing. This large 2-story retreats boast 550 of living space and can accommodate 6 guests. Electric and manual boat lifts available for rent.
Cabin 8 has a large master bedroom with a king bed on the second floor and a full bathroom with walk-in shower on the first floor. Additional bedroom on ground floor has two twin beds. Pull out couch in living room for extra guests.
Comfortable seating area with TV for relaxing indoors, or gather around your outdoor fire pit to toast marshmallows. Includes a covered porch with seating area, as well as a picnic tables and space for outdoor entertaining. Cabin 8 is located on the hillside over the lake, and it is an approximately 3 minute walk down the driveway and the staircase to access the water. Guests with 4-wheel and all-wheel drive can use the boat ramp to drop off guests or boating gear via our boat ramp. 1 reserved parking space. (More available by request and availability.)
Everyone staying at the property can enjoy our private beach, WiFi, and DirecTV. Stay cool on even the hottest days with air conditioning or cuddle up with our propane, electric heaters, or wood stoves. (Varies by site.)
We provide all of the linens and bath towels you need for your stay, as well as paper products to get you started. Our kitchenettes include microwaves, gas stove tops, refrigerators/freezers, coffee makers, pots, pans, dishes and silverware. Pack-n-plays and high chairs available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Need more space? Our nearly 4 acre property with 400 feet of frontage along Cayuga Lake and a private beach also has the Spotted Sandpiper Lake House, the Overlook Lodge, 8 cabins and 2 yurts. Ask us about our discounted rates for multiple rentals!

Nice family get away! The only thing was the hill to the cabin is much, however we had a great time. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

What a beautiful area and tranquil. Our stay was fantastic. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the view of the lake was great. The owners were extremely hospitable and attentive to our needs. This will definitely be the first of many stays at the spotted Sandpiper.

Great little campground not ideal if you bring a boat but the owners were great at finding a spot for us to park our boats away from our cabin up on the hill!

Loved how beautiful the cabin is and in great shape. Owners introduced themselves and were very friendly. Did not get bothered by mosquitos, loud noises, or neighbors lol.
Overall a great experience and got myself a lot of rest, was very recharged.
People always want to know if there was anything that was disliked. Anything I would say would be very minor as this was a great experience. But if I had to say something I would say the trip down to see the lake was a wee bit challenging to the weak knee individual as myself lol
I wish I brought my Jeep instead of my girlfriends Malibu as it was on a hill, but we got up there. Again, just minor things that didn't damper the overall satisfaction of my stay.
The owners even offered to let us stay longer, as nobody was expected after us that day. First class people all the way 👍
