About this cottage rental
SeaGrape is a delightful seaside 2 bedroom cottage, nestled in lush palms and blooming bougainvillea while overlooking the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. The house is a Jamaican classic with two air-conditioned master king suites, each with baths en-suite and cut stone outdoor showers. (One bedroom can be converted to two twin beds).
The open and airy living area includes a fully equipped kitchen with direct access to an outdoor dining veranda. Additionally the covered lounge is a lovely outdoor living room.
Steps away are sunning platforms where a ladder leads you in and out of the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea. Take a late day swim and enjoy cocktails as the sun sets directly in front of you. A magical Jamaican dream!
SeaGrape is a lush and lovely botanical tropical paradise. Perfectly situated atop the edge of the world famous cliffs of Negril. The lush one acre property has three beautiful and unique cottages that are fully appointed with Jamaican charm. It is an idyllic retreat for honeymooners, couples, small groups, destination weddings or families. The azure Caribbean Sea is outside your door, or just steps away. Swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing and stargazing are there for the duration of your stay…not to mention the most incredible world famous sunsets in total privacy and a secluded setting. Nothing but you, the sea, the sky and the sun… a cocktail and a little Bob Marley…perfection!

She specializes in delicious island specialties and can serve up various cuisines that are loved around the world. Have her create memorable Jamaican feasts that can be enjoyed al fresco on the terraced dining areas at each of the cottages. Cost of food services is paid directly to Melonie.
Nightly watch is provided by Bentley, our live in gardener and friend.
Outside the gates of Sea Grape Villas, the neighborhood is warm and welcoming. Local businesses are within walking distance for most of your vacation needs.
The famous white sands of the seven marvelous miles of Negril beach are a short taxi ride away.
Negril is approximately 1 ½ hours from Montego Bay Airport. We use the services of private drivers and are happy to pass along their contacts.
All transportation and communication is between the customer and drivers including sightseeing, daytrips and excursions.

What an amazing stay! The team met us at the gate with fantastic energy! Our villa was perfect for four. We enjoyed watching the sea and all the boats head to Ricks for amazing sunset views! We had a front row seat each night and watched the sun dip into the ocean. Plenty of nature watching! From goats, birds, hermit crabs, butterflies, dragonflies, salamanders, and 2 very friendly fur babies who came by for an occasional rub. Loved the intimacy of the property and the beautiful families staying in the adjacent villas. If you love star gazing, great spot to see the stars. We even had the opportunity to see Venus and Saturn. Melanie prepared authentic Jamaican Ackee & Salt Fish with Callao and we highly recommended her services.

We had a great time at Seagrapes. The whole stay was smooth starting from booking, through getting all the information before we landed there. The places is awesome, private, easy access to the water. Great sunsets and star gazing in the nights. A safe place. Great home good food from Meloine. Got a lot of snorkeling gear from Bertrand. The great place to stay and relax. Walking distance to Ricks Cafe for Cliff diving.
Overall, a great place to stay and high recommend.

My wife and I recently returned from our second stay at Sea Grape in Negril this time with our daughter. It was truly an amazing experience and two weeks later our daughter continues to talk about her trip to Jamaica. We stayed in the Sea Grape villa that overlooks the cliffs and beautiful Caribbean. The view and atmosphere is so serene we can definitely understand why Bob Marley once stayed there. From our morning hunts for hermit crabs to our daily swims in the cove by the cliffs (where one morning dolphins passed by just 50 feet out past where we were swimming) to the amazing sunset dinners on the porch with Juicy's delicious meals you could not ask for a more incredible vacation.The property staff of Juicy (chef), Christine (housekeeping) and Bentley (grounds keeper) were all kind and greatly appreciated. They give you the privacy to enjoy your trip but are there whenever you need them. The property itself is private and feels secluded even though you can easily walk to plenty of restaurants and bars like Rick's in the immediate vicinity if you choose to wander about. Additionally it is an easy cab ride down to the seven mile beach area if you want a change of scenery (you definitely don't need one though).Sea Grape is amazing place that will continue to be part of our lives for years to come.
