Welcome to Castaways Condominiums—an updated, low-density 36-unit complex perfectly situated in the heart of Gulf Shores at 327 East Beach Blvd. Located directly on the beach, our third-floor condo offers incredible ocean views with the beach just a few steps beyond the pool.
We're only a quarter-mile from the main Gulf Shores intersection, meaning you’re within walking distance of restaurants, souvenir shops, and family-friendly favorites like *The Hangout*—known for its live music, outdoor dining, games, and entertainment. A short drive brings you to the zoo, amusement and water parks, OWA Theme Park, The Wharf, Gulf State Park, golf courses, deep sea fishing, movie theaters, and an outlet mall with over 100 stores.
Your private balcony will become your favorite spot—with a front-row seat to dolphins playing in the surf and sunsets over the Gulf. Whether sipping coffee or relaxing with a book, you’ll love the sound of the waves and the view of the pool below.
Inside, the open living area features a 55" Smart TV, DVD player, a sleeper sofa, and seating for gathering with family and friends. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything needed for home-cooked meals, along with a washer and dryer for added convenience.
The spacious master suite features two queen beds, an oceanfront window, 42" Smart TV, walk-in closet, private balcony access, and an updated bathroom. The second bedroom includes a king bed with a twin bunk above, a 32" Smart TV, and its own renovated bath. Each bedroom includes a private bathroom with a double vanity and generous storage.
Outside, enjoy the beachfront pool—partially shaded for comfort—plus sun loungers, shaded tables, and nearby charcoal grills. The beach offers rentals for chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, jet-skis, paddleboards, banana boats, and parasailing. The Alabama State Park is close by with a fishing pier and dining options, and across the street you'll find bike and scooter rentals.
For entertainment inside, each TV includes Netflix access. We’ve also stocked the unit with books, magazines, DVDs, and board games for your downtime.
BONUS: Parking is INCLUDED. We pay the $40 per pass (up to 2) to the condo association. We do not charge resort or administration fees.

The location of the condo was perfect for our trip and the view was amazing. They did have some construction going on that resulted in the pool being closed, but the host worked with us to compensate for the pool not being available. The unit does need a few updates but for the most part it was a great stay, the condo was stocked with everything we needed.

This is THE BEST place to stay in Gulf Shores! I have stayed many, many places in Gulf Shores in my 56 years, and I will never stay anywhere else again. The view from the balcony is stunning, and the location is perfect! The pool is clean, quaint and charming. The condo is fully stocked with ANY and EVERYthing that you could ever think of, and then some. You literally only need to bring your clothes, toiletries and groceries, (including extra paper towels and TP. They supply 1 roll per bathroom and 1 roll of paper towels,) and that is it! It was clean, beautifully decorated and just overall, PERFECT! We will most definitely be back AT LEAST once a year! We give it a 10/10!

The view from the condo was lovely. We enjoyed seeing pods of dolphins and gorgeous sunsets.However, the condo needs updating in the living room and kitchen. The sleeper sofa and chair in the living room were very uncomfortable, worn, and old. The kitchen is extremely small and narrow with peeling laminate countertops. There was a generous supply of utensils, appliances and cookware.The second bathroom had carpet, rather than tile by the sink. Not sure why same flooring for bath /toilet weren't used.The pool was advertised to be heated. The pool heater was not turned on until 2 days before we left in our 28 day stay. Very disappointing!When I contacted the owner about recliner, dogs in condo above us, and the construction/exterior painting, she was quick to respond. It would have been beneficial to know before we booked, that the building was under construction. We were subjected to daily noise of a hammer drill that reverberated throughout the entire building.
