Hittah House at Moriah Hills

The Hittah House was perfect for our family gathering. It has plenty of space to spread out, watch tv, play games, do puzzles, whatever the group wants to do. The house has an abundance of cutlery and service settings for large gatherings for meals. We couldn’t have asked for a better space for our large group.

The experience was wonderful! The host was very communicative and generous. The house was clean and comfortable. It is a little hidden away but you just have to trust the driving instructions. I'm looking for more excuses to invite family and friends to come visit 😁

Very comfortable house with comfortable beds. Allowed our family to spread out, enjoy each other’s company, play a little putt putt golf and do a jigsaw. Our group was in the area for a wedding and this was a great home base.

We were in the area for our son's wedding at Postlewait Vineyard. The property and house are beautiful, especially the oversized deck. My only suggestion is to add a TV to the main floor living room.

We enjoyed our time at the house and made many great family memories! The kids enjoyed the pool table and mini golf holes and we all enjoyed the amazing views from the deck. Thank you!

Rented this house for my nieces wedding close by and it did not disappoint. Lots of areas indoors/outdoors for gathering spaces while also enough room for privacy if you want quiet relaxing times by yourself….and the views are pretty great also. Thanks for a great stay.

This was a seamless rental from start to finish.. we were a group of 5 couples who rented both of the houses available…. A perfect way to visit Oregon wine country…

This property was amazing! The pictures don’t even do it justice. We had everything we needed, it was clean, and spacious! The owner was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to this property!

We were a large group of extended family who stayed here for a wedding close by. This was the perfect property for us, there was plenty of space and amenities. Most of the rooms were relatively private and almost all had their own bathroom. The giant deck was used heavily and had great views. We loved staying here and would highly recommend!

Wow. Wow. Wow. We ended up renting this property and the smaller one for our large family. The pictures are great but the home is way better in person. Something fun for all ages with comfortable couches, beds, etc. Mini golf, pool table, swings, corn hole…..and vast beautiful land. Kimmee, the host was so attentive and wonderful. If you’re headed to Portland or anywhere nearby….this property will NOT disappoint. She even left goodies and beautiful coffee. Thank you Kimmee for your hospitality, beautiful taste and awesome property. Just so sad we couldn’t stay longer. We can’t wait to come back❤️……a very happy Family from Nevada. ❤️

Wonderful house with so much space and accommodations. Probably the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in.

This property has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The bbq patio upstairs is a great meeting place for all of your guests. It has great views of the country side and perfectly lit. It was where we spent most of our time. The downstairs also has a great TV room with comfortable couches and tons of places for your fellow guests to sleep. The mini golf course made for some fun evenings. We truly had the best trip while visiting Oregon. We hope to make this annual trip and can't wait to rent this property again.

The attempted to cancel with more than our required 14 days for a full refund and we have not been able to refund them / accept the cancellation. The reference number for this is 25953720. I was told your tech support would resolve this technical issue and accept the cancellation and make sure the guest was fully refunded. I cancelled long before the deadline and had a agreement with Kimmee Auxier" that if our event was cancelled I would get a full refund or i wont have booked. We rented both the Hittah House and the Chayah House from Kimmee for our wedding weekend, and we had a great time! The property was perfect for our large wedding party and having my parents next door at the Chayah House was very convenient for last-minute wedding stuff! Kimmee responded immediately when we reached out to her. She was a great host! Our only complaints about our stay there were (1) there were no outside lights for the Chayah House, so it was very dark at night when my parents walked back over; and (2) that we were not informed that there would be landscapers around the property all day, as well as other cars coming and going up near the houses that we did not know. The landscapers started laying bark dust outside of the bedroom window at the Chayah House at 8 AM and continued around the property until after 8 PM, including the putt-putt golf course in the evening time. Overall, though, we had an amazing time and this is a GREAT place to stay if you have a larger group! The property is beautiful and Kimmee was a great host!

I now know why they asked if I wanted to have rehearsal dinner there. We had ours at Langdon farms could of had it here with ease. We were the touch base place for out of town family to stop and visit. Let us have an open door to stop by. We rented multiple houses didn’t use all the beds but gave plenty of room and bathrooms to get ready for wedding. Also, had wedding at Langdon Farms. We stayed from Wednesday through ‘Monday. They did stop by to check on us lots and had amazon deliveries twice when we where there not sure why but put them in the garage. Thanks again for making my son and daughter in laws wedding special. We will have this memory for a lifetime!!!

We had an absolutely amazing stay for 3 nights. We rented all three houses on the property for our wedding weekend! Wow!!! Kimmie’s attention to detail in preparing these properties for guests is unmatched. Spotless. Comfortable. BEAUTIFUL! We had 13 people in the Hittah house and held the rehearsal dinner for 50 and it was perfect. Kimmie was very very flexible and accommodating and such a lovely host... and human for that matter!!! The property just exudes JOY! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to make memories of a life time!

We were super impressed with the house - it had all the comforts of home - very comfortable beds, more than adequate supplies, a beautiful location, a great kitchen for cooking and comfortable lounge areas. The best thing was the huge covered outdoor deck where we spent hours in rocking chairs, staring at the snow covered Mt Hood, chatting and simply soaking up and enjoying the magnificent surroundings! If we ever return to this area and need a house this large this will be our first choice. Thank you for making this vacation so memorable.

The Hittah House was the perfect vacation rental for our family gathering. It is spacious and could accommodate our large family (12) without feeling crowded. The farmhouse decor was beautiful & made us feel instantly comfortable in the house. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook all of our meals. The outdoor deck was a favorite spot to relax and enjoy the views. We hope to return for another family reunion in the future. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful property. Semi secluded with beautiful grounds. The mini golf course was a hit. Kimmee was absolutely wonderful and quite helpful. We were able to fit 14 adults comfortably in the home. The view from the spacious patio is calming and in the morings on a great day just breath taking. Very quiet location feeling like you are in the country side but still close to necessities like groceries stores. The lower gathering room with TV was comfortable and large. Would highly recommend to my friends.

Such hospitality! The owner brought farm fresh eggs and when she heard we would be getting in late she made sure the lights were on for us so we wouldn't walk into a dark house. The house is very comfortable and a very beautiful setting, great for kids! Thank you so much!

My sisters and our families - 16 members total - have never experienced such a comfortable time together under the same roof! We gathered for my oldest son's wedding weekend and were able to have beds for every member, bathrooms & showers for all our wedding preparations, & gathering spaces with lovely furnishings and plenty of area to spread out. The views were just gorgeous and the outdoor fun on the property was unique and enjoyed by all, ages 5 to 50! Kimme was the most gracious hostess and her fabulous home made this very momentous occasion such a special time for all of us to share. The absolute topper was the fact we were also able to rent her adjacent property, Chayah House, just across the driveway, for my son and his groomsmen to spend some serious bonding time together. Thank you so much, Kimme!

Hittah House was the perfect home base for friends weekend of golf and wine-tasting in the Willamette Valley. Great indoor and outdoor spaces with beautiful views of the surrounding farmland and hillsides. Kimmee was lovely to work with making arrangements and during our stay. Everyone on the trip wants to go back.

Warmly embraced by the house the moment we walked in, because it is not just a house, but truly a home. We wanted to share it with and show it to our entire extended family, from locals to those from far and wide (at least a dozen states.) Friday night we had arrivals from 4:00 'til almost 9:30 pm, along with visitors who stayed in the motel in Canby:( (so sad for them) and that meant it was one incredible house tour after another, all with gleeful reactions to the configuration of the space to the décor, to the "feel" and more! Saturday we had 18 visitors between the memorial service and a catered dinner in town. We played board games, which by the way the house is so well stocked with, putted on the nine hole course, enjoyed the oversized playground equipment (wow, that's an ice breaker, a wall taker downer!) and enjoyed reminiscing about our days of being cousins growing up. Sunday, 30 for dinner after church. Just wrapped around all the tables on that level of the house. What a joyful time! That night after dinner, we had a two hour jam session with an accordionist and a guitar player, cousins who'd never played together before. Hallelujah, Fly Away, Wonderful Tonight, and a lot of jazz had the little girls dancing and taking turns playing along on the tambourine and the rest of us clapping and singing. Nobody around to disturb with our happy, heavenly noise! Monday morning breakfast for 15 finished off our stay. We had been saying goodbyes, one by one since Saturday night. Nobody wanted to leave! But I know every single person felt sure we'll be back again! Soon! The House MADE our weekend!

This a very cute clean home with lots of space. Great for a family gathering. The views around the property are very pretty and calming. Could be really fun for a group wine country trip too. The owner is a very sweet lady.
