Mahana 919 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath spacious corner unit with the most outstanding view at the Mahana and on the whole island - It is also one of the nicest places to stay!! This condo is on the south west corner of the building which means you will not only have the gorgeous west ocean views but the unobstructed south facing ocean and beach view as well. Standing at the floor to ceiling windows, you feel as though you are floating above the ocean with views of Black Rock and Lanai to the South and Molokai to the North. Watch the whales from December through mid April right from the living room chairs or the lanai. (seriously!).....
This condo features a bright, classic Hawaiian feel. You didn't travel across the Pacific Ocean to stay in an apartment that looks like home did you? The backsplash tile is an artisan hand drawn and carved Hawaiian landscape with gorgeous sun, waves and flowers. The counter tops are black absolute granite and the cabinets have a luxurious, tasteful tropical feel. All appliances are top of the line, including the SubZero refrigerator/freezer. The whole unit has a sand colored floor tile and designer area carpets in the living room and both bedrooms. The living room furniture has ultra comfy Tommy Bahama swivel window chairs and sofa - you wont be able to resist taking a nap on this luxurious couch while you listen to the waves crash on the beach below!
The Primary Bedroom has a tempur-pedic California King bed and the Secondary Bedroom has two XL twins beds that can be converted to California King if preferred. A twin size roll away bed can be placed in any room.
Condo amenities include a full kitchen, air conditioning, dishwasher, microwave, flat screen smart televisions in the living room and master bedroom, free WiFi and a washer/dryer.
Enjoy the sunset each evening on the private lanai. The Mahana also has a heated pool, hot tub, a tennis court, pickle ball and shuffleboard. There are tennis racquets in the condo for our guests to use, along with beach chairs, coolers and various other fun items for sand and pool.
Amazing soft sand for walks and beautiful coral reef for incredible snorkeling are right outside the door. In fact you only need to look out the south facing window to see one of my favorite spots to snorkel. If the water is calm, get on your suit and you will be there in minutes!
Duke's Beach House Restaurant is an easy walk (you can see Duke's from the south-facing windows in the condo), as well as many other resort and local restaurants.
Resort amenities include free WiFi and parking, tennis courts, swimming pool, hot tub, pool towel service, shuffleboard, 24 hour front desk, concierge and a barbecue area. No Resort Fees!
The shopping complex across the street has a wonderful grocery store, subway, pizza, coffee.....Even a place for manicures! Only a few blocks north and you will find Snorkel Bobs, the Fish Market, Coffee and many restaurants, apparel and souvenir shops.
This property is very unique on Maui - although there are many beautiful places to stay, luxury ocean front properties like this are hard to find!

This unit definitely lives up to the photos and the accolades it's received. The views both down the length of Kaanapali and out to Lanai and Molokai are spectacular from the 9th floor location. And the decor is among the most tasteful and well coordinated that we have seen in the many places we have stayed. The furnishings are very high quality and the kitchen very functional. The unit location at the end of the corridor helped make our stay very peaceful and quiet. Would highly recommend. If we were to identify anything that was less than optimal, the twin beds in the second bedroom were firmer than we would have preferred, but that is undoubtedly a matter of individual preference.

We had such an incredible vacation! The place was perfect for us, and the views—absolutely breathtaking. Waking up each morning to breakfast on the lanai was a highlight, especially with the whales swimming just offshore right from our window or lanai. Strolling (or faced paced walk) down the boardwalk to Black Rock was such a nice walk. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year!

Heather was very responsive, helpful and an overall excellent host. The of the ocean are fantastic. You can sit on the balcony and watch the whales, turtles and surfers. So cool! The location is great. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and short driving distance to many attractions. The bed was a bit too soft for me but I have back issues so some people may like it. The only thing that would have been helpful is an ice maker or ice trays for cold drinks. Would definitely stay there again!

This condo is so very beautiful and is exactly as shown in the pictures. So many windows and an amazing Lanai as well so that you can easily sit and watch the beach and turtles below, the ocean and rainbows, the tourists at the mega resorts next door, AND the whales (using the supplied binoculars). This was truly our favorite condo in many years of visiting Hawaii.
Beds were comfortable, showers were great, linens and towels were very nice and everything was so very, very clean. The kitchen was well supplied with very high end appliances and everything you could need to cook at home. (We also ate out quite a bit as the food trucks and several of our favorite local spots are just a short walk away). Having the washer/dryer in the condo was also quite convenient and their beach supply closet was so well organized and well stocked with coolers and chairs and various ocean equipment. We also appreciated having towels for the beach be provided by the pool, this allowed us to have clean towels and avoid bringing sand into the condo.
The Mahana is right next to the board walk that goes all the way to Black Rock, which was super convenient and made it easy to take our morning walks or runs each day.
There is lots of room in the condo (we had 4 people) and the parking was easy with fast elevators up to the 9th floor. The condos on the lower floors looked dark and lacked a good view due to trees, so we were very grateful to be up so high and on the corner. The central A/C was great to have and the beautiful blinds for the windows worked well to reduce the direct sun heating the condo up in the afternoons.
Nothing negative to say about this place at all - we loved our stay and will most definitely be back soon and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for the perfect vacation condo!
