About this house rental
Located just 4 miles from Beaver Stadium and campus, this lovely 2-story home on 6.5 acres. Making your stay quiet and private with the convenience of being in State College. The home has great living spaces on a very private lot located right on Mount Nittany! Enjoy a close up view of Mount Nittany and maybe even decide to take a hike! Our back property line adjoins the Mount Nittany Conservancy blue trail. The newly renovated kitchen features new stainless steel appliances, as well as hardwood floors throughout. Downstairs living area was renovated to feature an open floor plan for gatherings. There are 4 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen, 1 full, 3 twins and 1 twin futon) with 2 full baths and 1 half bath, as well as multiple flat screen t.v.'s. We also have a large sectional sofa in main living and two futons in second living area. Great for accommodating large groups and families for any event or occasion! Sleeps 13 which will be our max rental capacity.

We stayed for our son's graduation, and this was a perfect place for our 8 total guests...big family room and big table easily big enough to hold all...host made everything very easy...check in and check out was a breeze. Lots of deer around, and great views of the valley...close to everything, but peaceful by the house. Thanks!

Fantastic location, close to everything including Beaver stadium but somehow still quiet and peaceful on a football weekend. Great yard, love the access to the hiking trail nearby and room for a big group to stay and enjoy each other's company at the great dining table, island and open kitchen. Very comfy recliners and beds. Our only criticisms would be that the water pressure was a little low, and it is a lived in house so you have to be ready for that. Overall just what we needed for a very fun homecoming weekend for two alumni couples and their teen/grown kids.

This was an expensive rental, but we thought we would bite the bullet for graduation, due to its great location. We ended up disappointed with our stay. While the house had adequate bed space and living room furniture, it lacked anything beyond the most basic furniture in the bedrooms. The rooms had inadequate lighting. There was no available storage for food or clothing. No place to hang dresses or suits, no ironing board, no place to put anything. There were barely any plates, glasses, mugs, cutlery, pots or platters. We had exactly seven forks for seven people, and saucers for plates. The dishes and cutlery were put away dirty and the cabinets were disorganized so finding things was a hunt. If you plan to cook here, bring your own cookware and paper products. The downstairs area was completely renovated and very nice, including the new bathroom. The bed broke while we were sleeping in it.
