In The Heart Of Florence, Between Duomo And SS Annunziata

This is a charming property in a great location to visit all the main attractions of Florence. The host was very welcoming, and the extra kitchen amenities (coffee, a bottle of juice, and a box of pastries) were a delightful touch. I was also very appreciative that the host was able to arrange a taxi for our early morning trip to the airport; it was much more economical than booking an Uber Black. Overall, it was a great stay that worked out perfectly for our family.There is a small elevator that fits 2–3 people to get up to the 3rd floor (the 4th floor, counting the U.S. way). This was essential for my parents, especially after 20,000-step days! Trekking up and down the building's main stairs was good exercise, but I didn't necessarily need it. Inside the apartment, there is also a tight spiral staircase to get up to the loft area that was somewhat difficult to navigate with luggage (I recommend leaving heavy bags on the main floor). This quirk is to be expected in any place where space is limited, but it's just something to be aware of. The only minor inconveniences were that the Wi-Fi was on the slow side, especially when multiple people were on their devices at the same time, and the fold out bed required some "engineering" with additional blankets to provide sufficient support for sleep. We did take advantage of the washer during our stay. The load took a long time, but I learned that is typical in Europe.

I can't recommend this stay enough. We were absolutely delighted with EVERYTHING! Lots of space for our extended family visit, the BEST location you can imagine, and a lovely host who even provided croissants & coffee. We couldn't have been happier with our stay in Florence.

Location is fantastic, close to all attractions. Many wonderful restaurants close by.Chiara was very responsive to all questions and concerns and helpful booking our taxis when we ran into any issues.The elevator was handy after long day trips, as an FYI, if taking the elevator down - 0 is the ground floor.The apartment is small, worked for the 3 of us.Once we figured out the hot water system we had hot showers. Upstairs bedroom was quite warm due to the unexpected warm weather, having the windows opened helped with the temperatures.
