With its quaint white picket fence, rose hedge, and whimsically restored interior, this enchanting cottage was once featured in Better Homes and Gardens. Today, this cozy beach town getaway is equipped with everything you will need for your stay.
A wood deck off of the primary bedroom offers ocean views and opens onto a beautifully landscaped backyard with a large lawn, as well as fig and lemon trees. The outdoor shower is perfect to rinse and relax after a day at the beach. Additional amenities include:

Beach umbrellas

Located close to L'Auberge resort between 15th and 13th streets, this cottage is just a few blocks away from the best shopping and dining in Del Mar. Other nearby attractions include Del Mar Race Track and the Del Mar Fairgrounds (about 1.5 miles away).
If you plan to venture further afield, Del Mar is an easy drive to Sea World, Legoland, San Diego Zoo, and Wild Animal Park. 20-minute drive to downtown, and close to the train station.

Thank you, Gary and family, for sharing your beautiful cottage with us. I’m almost hesitant to write this review because I don’t want to let the secret out! It was peaceful, quiet, beautifully appointed, and had everything we needed. Evenings in the yard, beneath the blossoming pepper tree and the glow of the moonlight, felt absolutely magical. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean each night was pure bliss. We’re so grateful for such a relaxing getaway and can’t wait to return. Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality! We send you all good wishes :)

This is an ideal location in Del Mar on a quite street with an easy walk to the beach and to the restaurants downtown.

The home and yard are wonderful for a family. It is within walking distance to the beach and a short drive to SeaWorld. The ocean breeze and beautiful location have us wanting to come back!
