About this apartment rental

Enjoy mountain views from this beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo on the free shuttle route. One assigned space is available in underground parking garage. Master bedroom has King bed, television, and private bath. Second bedroom has 2 twin beds. Den has a full-size futon. Queen size sleeper sofa in living room.

We are located just 5 miles from the Winter Park ski area and 2 miles from downtown Winter Park. Another ski area, SolVista Basin is only a 15 mile drive.

In the summer enjoy hiking, boating, rafting, etc. It is only a 30 minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park and 20 minutes from the largest lake in Colorado.

Super random, but for awareness for future guests who plan to cook - kitchen could use a chef's knife and some tongs. Otherwise had most commonly needed utensils.

When we booked this place an important advertised amenity was the hot tub on property--one of our must have search filters. When we arrived, the hot tub was out of order for our entire two week stay. When we inquired, our host suggested we use the rec center in town for which we would have had to travel to (rather than a short walk across the parking lot) after a long day of skiing and pay fees of approximately 350 over our stay. While we realize that such things are beyond the host's control, nevertheless it was a featured and promised amenity for which we did not receive the benefit of our bargain. Before posting our review, we made two inquiries for an accommodation, such as a partial refund based on the rec center fees, but all we heard were crickets. Our host's lack of response was perplexing to say the least. Otherwise, the unit was somewhat dated, the view was nice but hindered by the condensation and mold in the windows due to broken double pane seals, and the fireplace blower motor was very noisy because the bearings need to be replaced. Be prepared for second floor ascents since there is no elevator and three flights from the underground garage if you park down there. While there are other aspects we might have otherwise comment upon favorably, given our host's lack of communication, we're not so inclined. We were very disappointed by how the hot tub situation was handled by this host.

The place is roomy and clean with lots of kitchen utensils and dishes. It is convenient to Fraser and Winter Park. The Link bus stop is just down the hill nad it is an excellent service for Fraser and Winter Park. The heated underground parking was great. There was no shampoo, so we were glad we brought some. Our only complaints are that the furnace is extremely noisy and woke us every time it came on. Also, the owner failed to sent us the door code in our welcome email and it took us 45 minutes to slog through the Virbo process to get access to her. It was partly our fault for not noticing sooner, but we had fears that we couldn't get in after making the long drive.

We have stayed at this condo for several years in Fraser and it is one of our favorites. The condo layout is wonderful for a family of 4 and the sunroom provides extra space to spread out and relax after a day on the slopes. The kitchen is equipped with everything that you need to cook and eat in the condo. The location is close to the bus line - which, is a must with how difficult it can be to find parking at the resort. And, having a hot tub on location is always a wonderful addition. Ruthann is quick to reply to any questions and is a wonderful to work with.

We really enjoyed this condo. It had tons of space plus a heated garage, making it the perfect base for skiing WP. The only drawback was the condo complex's hot tub: the water looked like it had not been cleaned for a while, so we didn't use it after the first day.

We stayed at Ruth's condo for 2 weeks. It was absolutely fantastic! The location was close to the grocery store, to the tubing hill when our granddaughter visited, to the movie theatre and to many restaurants in Winter Park and of course just a short drive to the ski hill. Having a garage, laundry and a hot tub was definitely an added plus. Communication was wonderful. We would definitely stay there again,

Some friends and I wanted a mid week getaway to play golf in Grand County. We booked this location due to the proximity of the golf courses we wanted to play. The directions from the owner for check made the process extremely easy. The condo is spacious and clean and quiet. The location is also very close to the Safeway store. We enjoyed sitting on the deck after golf and enjoying the views with a pre dinner cocktail! Will definitely keep this property in mind for future mountain retreats!

Totally underestimated the size of this condo. It was great and had plenty of room. Although we didn't need it, if you do its there. Very clean, super comfortable, especially the master bedroom bed. Our only issue if you could call it that was getting two different sets of check in directions. Which had 2 sets of codes for each of the different doors. The rub being you actually needed one code from each set of directions to actually get in both doors so I mean it's a good thing we had both sets. Fair warning the garage is super low clearance but a great feature we were very appreciative of.

We had a great family ski vacation at Ruth’s place. It was perfect for three people and could have accommodated more. We enjoyed the open kitchen and living room area. We spent most evenings watching movies after dinner. The garage was super convenient especially considering the very cold temperature during our stay. Great view of ski slopes and mountains. Neighborhood is very quiet and pleasant. Plenty of dishes and cookware. One of the cleanest rentals I’ve stayed in. Bed is very comfortable. Great selection of DVD’s, books and games. Convenient location for all winter outdoor recreational activities. Safeway close by has great selection of groceries and decent prices.

This property had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. The little den area came in very handy as my teenage had studying to do and my middle schooler had a group project to work on in the evening. So having one in the bedroom and the other in the den was great for us. The kitchen was reasonably equipped for cooking full meals and was very clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a little trouble getting into the property (the code that was given was not correct, VRBO assist had the right one in their system somehow). Other than that everything was as expected. With the wildfires and wanting to let the cool air in at night with opening windows, it definitely gave the whole place a campfire scent. Perfect location for a weekend in Winter Park.

We loved the location of our condo, the neighborhood was quiet, and open space covered in snow was lovely. We heard some neighbors move in on a Friday night, but then never heard activity again, and this was a holiday weekend....the place is that quiet! We had a couple of minor issues and our attempts at contact were answered within the hour. When we return to this area, this would be our choice of properties.
