Peaceful, secluded and good for families with children.

We enjoyed the beautiful property and our kids had a fun time playing outside on the playground and looking at the pond. The bedrooms were large and there were plenty of beds for our group of 4 adults and 5 children. The baby beds and high chairs were helpful. The dining and kitchen area was a little small feeling for the size of our group and there was not a living room. We had a pleasant stay and had everything we needed. We would stay here again if we are in the area.

Terrible stay

The property is significantly different from what we were assume and we felt that we have been scammed. The property is dirty, full of spider nets, and has a bad oddor. The linen and sheets smell bad. 2 of our family members are suffered from alergy attack due to the massive dust in the property. The appearance of the property is horrible and located next to a highway, resulting in ongoing traffic noise during the night. It is poorly equiped! Extremely over priced!!! We run away to another hotel.

Long weekend break

It was very clean, in a nice remote setting but convenient for travelling to Strasbourg. Comfortable bed and nice bed linen and towels provided. Access to the apartment was well organised.

Despite being well equipped, I did miss one or two things such as a coffee machine or at least a filter to brew your own coffee (instant coffee was provided, but I don't like it) There was hardly any storage room for food and no chopping board for cutting bread.

I am not sure I am so impressed with the general increase needing to use your smartphone to get access to keys, but at least in this case it was not to constantly needing your phone to enter/exit. And it worked so smoothly, too, that really, it was ok after all. Great instructions to find the accommodation, you need them at the very least, as your gps might take you to a dead end. Fully functional unit. Netflix-strong password-protected wifi. A bit more shielded off for privacy, you could easily work on your vitamin D levels on the small terrace.

It was my first time ever staying so close to a highway, and i was quite distraught: It cannot possibly be healthy to subject yourself to that kind of 24/7 noise level. Barring a few trees you could see the cars swooshing by. What a shame! My head couldn't get around it, and I am sorry to say I could not wait to leave. This noise level is probably a future deal breaker for me, despite Offenburg seeming like my dream holiday destination, for various reasons. The pretty view onto the pond was there, but from the bedroom.

nice location for visiting Strassbourg and Black Forest

the place had 3 huge bedrooms and good location. nice quarry around the corner for a swim where locals go. this is clothing optional but very family friendly.

- no sofa area to all sit down even there was only 4 of us. - no views of lake even though pictures give you that expectation.

Convenient and clean Location with a lot of rules.

The apartment was very clean and the description to find it and for check-in was very precise and thorough. The location is quiet but easy to reach from the freeway.

The plethora of rules that were pinned up did not make us feel very welcome. Some were common sense - like being respectful of neighbors and quiet, late in the evening, however some were surprising and felt hostile - it is not allowed to cook with garlic in the kitchen for example.

Perfekter Sommerausflug

The house was super clean, beautiful and cozy. It was right inside the jungle which made it very nice to be in because you could simply listen to the sound of nature during the day and at night. There was a huge garden with a small creek inside where you could sit around and enjoy your view, feed the fish in the creek, grill or chill with a cold beer in your hand. The supermarket and train station were only about 10 minutes far from the house (with a car of course) and it made it super convenient although it seemed quite far from the town.

The wifi was very slow and we had to use our cellphone internet at some point, the TV was also quite small which was not so convenient to watch the Euro games.

One suggestion- If you use a GPS the the address is difficult to fine. I really don't know what needs to be done but the GPS always took us to the other side which was closed

Great place to stay for longer period with family and friends.

A big apartment, very nice with family and friends, kids were happy walking around in surrounding, feeding the fishes in the pond etc. The kitchen facilities are quite complete and all the cleaning equipment is available.

Huge apartment with amazing lake view

Patrick, the host, was amazingly helpful, a great person indeed. The apartment is huge and the view of the lake is amazing. The house is surrounded by beautiful nature: lake on one side and forest on the other. Beds really comfortable, everything very clean and a whole lot of space. Highly recommend.

ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Uns hat die Lage sehr gefallen , abseits von Lärm und Trubel , die Anlage ist sehr schön , sehr sauber und mit allem ( außer einem Schuhanzieher ) ausgestattet was man für einen Wochenendaufenthalt benötigt, Gaststätten liegen in der Nähe. Als Tipp von mir , eine Ablage für Waschutensilien in der Dusche wäre gut, außerhalb macht es weniger Sinn , ist aber meine persönliche Meinung. Werde ich wahrscheinlich wieder buchen.

Prima voor een paar dagen

De bedden waren goed en het huisje was schoon

Aangezien er geen airco was en het buiten 30 graden was, was het binnen al snel erg warm. We kregen het advies om alles dicht te houden maar dan was het helemaal niet uit te houden. S avonds koelde het wel af maar als je dan de ramen open zetten dan had je binnen de kortste keren een hok vol met muggen aangezien de raamhorren overal stuk waren

Für Familien ideal

Der hinter dem Haus gelegene Teich lädt zum entdecken ein, es gibt zahlreiche Tiere, besonders Frösche. Wir konnten uns auf der ganzen Anlage frei bewegen. Es gab eine Schaukel und ein Spielhaus. Die Einrichtung war super und alles war sauber.

Die Betten mussten wir bei Ankunft selber beziehen. Die nahegelegene Autobahn ist natürlich zu hören, uns hat es aber nicht gestört.
