Great stay! Lovely cozy place :)

Cozy little place, we had such a lovely holiday! We’ve been so lucky to see the northern lights from the yard! The sauna was our favourite! Host has been very friendly and helpful. Shops were a walking distance 15-20 mins at a slow pace for us. We would definitely recommend this place. If we ever go back to Rovaniemi, we would definitely go back to this place.

Glad it was cold or we'd have been smelly.

Ari is a wonderful host and answered many questions prior to our arrival and at the onset of our stay. The full kitchen was great to have, and the overall house was very quirky. The surrounding area was beautiful and the cabin had a few very nice features (mud room entry, sauna, boot brush at entrance, snow shovel)

With only a 30L/8gal water heater, showering completely was impossible. The three of us had to ration water unreasonably. It was a surprise to have an additional charge if we didn't clean the unit (vacuum, clean bathrooms, strip linens, etc.), which we really did not want to do, but did thoroughly. We will be more cautious in the future to only rent units that have a cleaning fee. Additionally, we did not feel like the unit had been thoroughly cleaned in some time. The shower & Sauna room was very cold (adding to the issues with little hot water).

Well appointed self contained apartment in a quiet location within walking distance to town.

Quiet, cute little cottage in the snow. Had all amenities that we needed.

There was no way to provide privacy from the kitchen window when using the bunk beds. A pull down blind would be great. Limited hot water.

Make sure you communicate with host in advance as property wasn't ready upon our arrival

The cabin was nice, practical and comfortable. It had a sauna too. Walking distance to the town (around 30min).

The place wasn't ready when we arrived, even though check in was meant to be from 4pm and we arrived after 6pm. I texted and emailed the property and a few minutes later the owner (who lives next door) came and seemed confused we were there, even though we had a booking. He confirmed he had received the booking. He then proceeded to clean the place on front of us, make the beds, and bring toilet paper and towels. It was just very awkward as we were expecting a smooth check in process but we never received the instructions. Our flight had been at 6am on that day and we were very tired and wanted to sleep, so it was frustrating to have to wait for arrangements to be made after 6pm on the day we arrived and had paid for. Bear in mind you are expected to leave the place clean, otherwise you will be charged a 40 euro cleaning fee.

We liked everything. The little cozy house, the surroundings, the owner. Ary was a great host, he responded to all our needs very quick. We would chose Villa Seven if we will take another trip in Rovaniemi.

We would definitely come back to villa 7 and lapland, villa 7 was the best value part of our trip.

Ari is an excellent host, the house is in a quiet neighbourhood and idyllic, everything needed was there and Ari was so helpful answering questions and sorting our needs. You could walk into town but with a small child we opted for taxis! It’s far enough out of town to be quiet but close enough to be accessible. It’s a classic Finnish cabin, ideal for a small family.

I stubbed my toe on the bed almost every night! Smarter people would learn the first time!!

villa 7 has all the amenities a family needs, it is cosy and comfortable and within easy reach of the airport, shopping centre and Santa Claus park and village.

Great home from home

Great location for the town and Santa village. Very warm, clean and comfortable little house. Ari was a great host, very accommodating and hospitable. The house had everything you could need, we were there with 2 children and a baby and it was very comfortable. There was a box of toys, an Xbox and dvd player which came in useful. Lovely sauna, plenty of parking. Thank you Ari!

Our stay was perfect, everything started with great welcome by our host Ari , the neighborhood is great and quiet very peaceful very typical , the house was very clean and cute nothing missing, everything was nice, I recommend this place so much specially for people want to feel the real atmospher of Lapland, definitely come back to the same place if I’m back in Lapland.
