Welcome to KaMilo 111, where your Big Island Vacation truly begins! Enter the door to this beautifully furnished home and you will immediately feel the wear and tear of your long journey here begin to melt away, as you open up the 15 foot pocket doors and step onto your lanai and gaze out at the lush green landscaping that surrounds what you will call home for the next week (or three?).
3 spacious bedrooms, each with their own High Definition TVs and comfortable beds await the weary traveler, enticing you to relax and settle in for a quick nap before hitting the beach.
The gourmet chef's kitchen begs for some fresh island fish or grass-fed local beef to be cooked for the whole family, while the lounge-style outdoor seating area is the perfect place to unwind with a mai tai after a long hard day at the beach.
Whatever your sense of adventure entails, the Big Island has it, from snorkeling with dolphins and mantas, to snowboarding the summit of Mauna Kea, and everything in between! We just checked out of KaMilo 111 and already miss it! This gated community is one of the best we’ve stayed at here in Mauna Lani! The house is conveniently located just inside the gate, not too far from the pool. If we needed groceries or snacks, we could run right down to Foodland. In the evenings, we’d catch the sunset at nearby Holoholokai Beach/Petroglyph Park. If you’re one that likes to hang out at the pool or gym, you’re in luck because this community has really great options! There are 2 pools (quiet pool for adults and a separate family pool) and a hot tub, as well as a really large gym with great equipment!
We had 2 couples and 2 kids staying in the house and it fit everyone very comfortably. The layout was perfect because each family could have their own half of the house. It came with beach gear, a golf cart (loved this!), and a lovely lanai where we got to hang out in the evenings. And the kitchen came fully stocked with everything we could have needed.
Another big plus was how easy it was to communicate with the property manager, Kai. He was always just a text or phone call away if we needed him.
Overall, we loved our stay at this property, and would stay here again. Hopefully everyone else loves their stay here just as much as we did!

Location is great but this property is obviously up for sale as the amenities are very tired. House is well worn along with the bedding,cushions, beach chairs ,bikes,kitchen itensils. I would stay here again after it sells as this owner has lost touch for whatever reason on the property. Property management contact was a highlight and responsive.
