Our Hawaiian paradise can be yours when you stay in our beautiful 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, 2100 square foot Big Island home located in KaMilo, a private gated community surrounded by the Mauna Lani North Golf Course. Entering, you will find an impressive cathedral ceilinged great room with a relaxing entertainment and dining area. Retractable sliding glass doors open to one of the three main floor lanais, allowing the indoor and outdoor spaces to flow together as you enjoy the comfort of the tropically appointed living area.

The fully equipped gourmet kitchen has Thermadore stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and African mahogany cabinets. If you enjoy outdoor cooking, the lanai is perfectly equipped with a gas BBQ and table with seats for eight.

This home will comfortably accommodate up to 10 and provides anything you may need for your dream vacation. For those concerned with stairs, the home provides easy one-level access to the entire ground floor, which houses three of the four bedrooms, including one master. Both master bedrooms have California king beds, ensuite bathrooms, and walk-in closets. The second floor master provides privacy and a stunning sunrise view over Mauna Kea from the private lanai. A third bedroom has one queen bed while the fourth bedroom has two queen beds (not doubles!). All bedrooms have ceiling fans as well as 32' or larger HDTVs with Blue Ray/DVD players and digital cable. The great room has a 55' 1080p LED HDTV equipped with a Blue Ray/DVD player, HD cable box and surround sound stereo system (5.1 Dolby), sure to entertain the entire family.

One of the best-kept secrets of the Mauna Lani Resort, the KaMilo/Kulalani Recreation Center, is the largest in Mauna Lani and only a short walk from your home. It boasts a lap pool, a free-form resort style pool, a kiddy wading pool, two hot tub spas, a workout room with free-weights and exercise machines, expansive lawns, and a gathering pavilion with a Viking grill and outdoor kitchen for hosting parties or other special events.

For those that live for the beach, the Mauna Lani Owner's Beach Club is only a short drive down the road. While there, you can enjoy all the amenities that the club has to offer, including swimming, snorkeling, stand-up paddling, and much, much more! A full-service restaurant with an outstanding food and tropical beverage menu is located mere steps from the beach.

The house and its amenities were perfect for the 9 of us! We were good about not wearing shoes in the house but the floor seemed especially grimy. Everyone was happy with the mattresses and proximity to the pool!

Everything was great, Jim was easy to work with. 8 of us stayed comfortably. Kitchen surprising was fully stocked! Quite Neighborhood. Only complaint is we had to go home. Definitely would recommend and hopefully we can rent again.

The house was great for 2 families, with 10 people total. Loved all the beach gear in the garage. Only 1 good boogie board but we bought 2 decent ones and left them there. Loved being close to hapuna beach. Enjoyed a couple take out dinners in the pool area. Only small complaint was the WiFi didn’t always work (we reset the router and then it worked fine)..

We had a very nice stay at this home. It was well equipped for our large family with plenty of sleeping spaces. We enjoyed the close proximity to the Fairmont where we were attending a conference. The neighborhood is nice with friendly people and a relaxed vibe. Young kids seemed to be welcomed, including at the very nice pool area. Houses really are quite close together, which was a little surprise, but the lush vegetation helped create somewhat more of a private feel. The access to the gated beach was a plus. Although a couple miles away, it was a nice change of scenery. The beach accessories provided in the garage were more than adequate and appreciated.While perfectly adequate for our stay, the house did have some signs of use. This wasn't unexpected and didn't affect our enjoyment there. There were some carpet stains and some of the furniture, both inside and outside, definitely showed heavy wear. All in all, not a deal breaker and wouldn't affect out decision to stay here again.

We had no hot water for seven of the 10 days we were there. The property manager did get a plumber to come out. But he did not fix the problem, and in fact, made it worse. We reached out again to both the owners and property manager and were continually gaslighted as we were leaving the next day. We were told by both the property management and suggested by the owner that it was in fact, our “preference” to have hotter water and we should take shorter showers. This property is advertised as being hospitable for 10 people, how is it possible to house 10 people with no hot water? We did not overuse the hot water, nor did we take long showers. The property manager did not notify us when the plumber was coming, as they communicated they would, otherwise, we would have been there to ensure the problem was fixed. We have extensive experience in plumbing ourselves. In addition we were told the property had a resort style pool and spa to use during our stay. We were told the day we arrived both the pool and spa were undergoing major repairs and they would not be available for a month. We talked to another owner and were told they knew this was scheduled for several months. We were not notified of this or given any notice so we might choose another property. Aside from these issues, this property would have been a dream. Sorry this happened and put a damper on this once in a lifetime trip for your family. any opportunity to choose another rental.

We loved this location as we stayed in this same area before. We enjoyed the beach equipment and toys. That was a really great touch. The pictures are old and need updating in regards to the view from the lanai as the greenery and houses have blocked the view, and some furniture has changed. Also, some of the furniture was falling apart and there were large stains on the carpet. When this was brought to their attention we received no response back. The place will be all five stars with just a bit of upkeep.

This large house, in well-maintained, quiet, gated community, was perfect for our family of 8 (6 adults, 2 children 9 &11) and easily walkable to the community centre where we made full use of pools, hot tub & gym equipment. Other amenities including small shopping mall with small grocery store, beaches and parks were short car drive away. It was tight but laneway was large enough for our 2 large vehicles (street parking not permitted). Kitchen was well equipped and extra chairs allowed all of us to eat around the dining table. Minor inconvenience was concierge service knew but did not tell us that bathroom fan was not functioning until we brought it to their attention.

The house was beautiful, well taken care of and owners were super easy to work with. We went as two families with 2 kids each. 2 masters and 2 other bedrooms worked great. Nice small yard w/ bbq and table for 8. Garage with every beach item you need. Pool around corner, quick walk. The membership to the beach club was fantastic. One note, hit the Safeway just south of the airport before you come up since the close grocery stores are smaller resort type stores. We would rent this place again!

Really enjoyed the space this rental had! Plenty of room, plus a great patio to hang out as well. We loved spending time together as a family after our beach or pool adventures. The private beach is nice. Plus, the Fairmont and another beach (non swimmable) is within walking distance (about three quarters of a mile). Enjoyed our morning walks. The only drawback is that there are not a ton of restaurant options there. If you drive to Waikola village (12 minutes away) there are more. Grocery stores like KTA, Wal-Mart, Costco, Target are much further away. Overall, this was a great base for extended families or large groups. The kids enjoyed it and the pack in play provided was nice.

We bought an extra boogie board to donate to the house because my kids were fighting over the single one available. Would have loved if there were sand toys available too. THE FACT THERE IS TWO MASTERS IS A BIG PLUS. NO ONE ARGUED OVER ROOM ASSIGMENTS. WE HAD BREAKFAST EVERY MORNING ON THE LANI! SAW MANY BIRDS (A RED CARDINAL CAME EVERY MORNING), ALSO A MONGOOSE!! THE RESORT IS BEAUTIFUL WITH POOLS AND A PRIVATE BEACH CLUB. WOULD DEFINELTY RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE TO AL LARGE GROUPS.

Great area, beautiful neighborhood, very nice beach, pool was nice and close for walking. The beds were very comfortable and bedrooms very spacious. Lovely two master bedrooms. Air conditioning was a big plus! Kitchen was well stocked with all essentials for cooking and grilling. Even had a coffee grinder and big rice cooker. Nice little back yard and lenai to enjoy. The garage had many beach essentials which were great for the kids and adults. There are bikes also but one bike had a flat tire. So the only problems arose due to the really windy weather. We tried going to the community beach but left rather quickly due to sand flying into our eyes and the baby wasn't enjoying the sand in her face either. I also wasn't expecting to have to drive as far as we had to to get to our beach. I don't think I would have ridden the bikes that far either. But it would have been a really pleasant beach if the weather would have cooperated. Can we have a do-over??😏 So we ended having to do more sightseeing than staying to enjoy the community pool and beach. We found out that Kona's weather is calmer than this area so we ended up driving to some beaches in Kona. That was really too bad because this area's beaches are SO much nicer. The pool was nice even though a bit cold but the hot tub was very nasty looking (needed cleaning desperately). I didn't even want to go into that. Thank you for sharing your beautiful tropical home with our family. If it weren't for the weather it would have been an absolutely perfect vacation. Aloha!

Oof, what a place. Large open areas for extended-fam hangs; plenty of dining/quick snack seating, and super useful Island-fun supplies (swimmy/beach eqpt, in addition to decent kitchen supplies). 9 of us stayed a week, two 3/5yo kids as well. Served as an incredible home base during our island explorations. Location was fantastic, seems better to be north of Kona, here, as it was closer to cutting across the island for our exploring. Incredible pool for non explore days. Resort beach was poppin, and had other cool nearby amenit like shopping and dining. Made that stuff easy mode for sure. Ty for the fun; trip planners put this one high on your list!

This was a perfect rental for our family of 7. The location was great as well as all the amenities. The four bedrooms gave everyone their own space and the table on the lanai was perfect for our meals. The property manager and owner made booking very easy and communication was great.

We are a family of 9. It was great to have a place that was actually designed for that many. A table large enough for all of us, enough chairs, No one sleeping on sofa beds. This had an amazingly stocked kitchen, with just about anything you could imagine. There were lots of snorkels, boogie boards, and beach stuff. My family and I had an amazing time in Hawaii. The planning process in regards to securing the home was easy. The owner responded almost immediately to all of my questions and provided great suggestions on excursions for my family. The home is beautiful and was spacious enough for my family of 8. We loved how close it was to the pool, all of the gear provided in the garage for a fun day at the beach and enjoyed bike riding with the bikes provided. The one and only observation that needs attention is the odor from the washing machine. The good thing is the odor did not affect the clothes. Overall, an absolutely awesome time. I highly recommend this home. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Fantastic location, great snorkeling and facilities. Well appointed Beach/play gear. But…Freezer didn’t work and wasn’t warned. Oven needed to be fixed while we were there. Didn’t fix a light in shower in main master creating a trip hazard for my 78 yr old dad. Property manager said owner didn’t want to fix until he came. Shower handle very loose master bath. Worn furniture. Bugs in hood above stove. We stayed a block away at a much better rental for cheaper in the past. Just didn’t have four bedrooms or we would’ve rented there again. Disappointed.

The house was beautifully furnished with extensive features and space for a large family. The pool is a minute walk away, the shops a minute drive, and the beach club a little further. There was plenty of cookware and dishware, so we happily cooked our meals and ate on the lanai twice a day. We'd definitely stay again!

We were a party of 9 ( 6 adults and 3 kids) and it was a wonderful base for our vacation. Its in a nice development, short walk to fun pool area for the kids, and short drive to beaches and shopping. House would be great for 2 families to stay (2 master suites) and was stocked w beach and kids stuff and games in the house. Would love to stay here again. Mahalo:)

I’m a former BI resident and my husband and I were married here January 2020; and his parents, my parents, and his 3 boys (my now step cool kids) we’re all included. All of us were coming back for this spring break but last minute it just ended up being us without the grandparents. We had an amazing time. Boys wanted to be closer to sand beaches so between hapuna and Mauna Kea we were set in mornings. Could come home for lunch and chill time before going to the Mauna Lani Beach Club, which was included in rental, and enjoy another low key, non crowded/great snorkeling beach while getting a couple of liliokoi margaritas before dinner time. The house itself was perfect. Space, comfort, well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and beach gear, plus relaxed atmosphere along with convenience to early morning runs or walks and neighborhood pool swimming were magical. We really really enjoyed ourselves. But honestly, best part was the communication. There’s nothing worst then getting a vrbo and not being able to ask questions , get further info, or get in contact if you need too. This place was wonderful. Highly recommend.
