This apartment was excellent for my liking. Spacious kitchen with all the essentials there, the bed was comfortable, bathroom was okay too. I felt very homely there and didn't have any issues with this property. The location was good. Close to the shops and walking distance to the Cape Town waterfront where all the nice restaurants are and other things to do.
There was no air conditioning, only the old school ceiling fan. For me that was okay as Cape Town wasn't too hot, but could be a problem in much hotter temperatures. Straight outside the flat there were a lot of big rats running around at nights, but I know that's nothing to do with the owner as it was on the main road.

Close to all amenities. Walking distance of restaurants and the waterfront.
The shower and toilet being so close to each other, shower water tend to run out of the shower, perhaps a glass door separating the two completely.

The place is centrally located and was easy to access.
It was incredibly noisy until at least midnight and then again from 4am when many workers and fellow flat owners appear to start their day. There are also consistent restaurant smells in the flat and the linen smelled of smoke.
