Good value for money, simple room but good for a couple of nights. Located in a quiet area with lots of wildlife in the surroundings.
The room gets a little hot during the day (theres only a fan). Almost every day we had the power cut off for several hours.

Host is super friendly. The room has a really nice kitchen. It is close to different, less crowdy beaches, which is really nice.
Also the garden is super nice and peaceful. I stayed here for almost 2 months and I would stay here again.
Beginning of march is I think the season that the fishermen come back from their trips and start doing karaoke nights in the neighborhood. Accomodation is still good but if you are sensitive to sounds this might not be the best period to stay in this neighborhood.

Great outdoor kitchen. Lovely garden area with lots of homemade art. Nice and quiet area away from the tourist buzz but a nice walk to blue beach or hiriketiya beach. We ran out of gas in the kitchen and our host replaced it in minutes.
