Waterfront 3 Bed/3 Bath Designer Villa with Heated Pool and Spa

Home was exactly as described. House manager Tatiana was the best! Would definitely go back.

Our family of six (adults) had a fantastic stay! Communication with the host was excellent, and the layout of the property was perfect, with each couple having their own bathroom. The outdoor space had plenty of seating, so we never felt cramped. The neighborhood felt very safe—we enjoyed morning walks in a different direction every day.The highlight of our stay was the backyard. The pool was kept at 86 and was absolute heaven—easily the best VRBO pool we've ever experienced. I don't think I've spent so much time in a pool in my entire adult life! The dock by the canal was another peaceful retreat where we often had breakfast and relaxed.We did have a bit of trouble figuring out the pool controls on the first evening, but we called Tatiana and she talked us through it. I felt terrible because it was Saturday night, but she was super patient.The only minor downside was the cleanliness. The property could use a thorough cleaning, both inside and out, and a few things need to be replaced. There were some spices in the cabinet that expired in 2013, so we ended up going out and buying everything we needed for the week. Overall, though, we were very pleased with our stay and would happily recommend this property to others.

This beautiful home is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood! Within 15-20 minute drive of the airport, downtown, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, lots of restaurants, and about 3 miles to the beach. It is very centrally located and felt like it was a great place for the things we wanted to do. The home itself is very nice, with a beautifully appointed kitchen, three beautiful bathrooms, and the beds were the most comfortable beds ever! We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings, and on our cooler day! The pool was refreshing but nicely heated. (Make sure you read the entire notebook as it refers to the spa/pool instructions). We messed that up the first night but the house manager, Tatiana, was super helpful and even came the next day while we were out on the boat, and made sure everything was running well. And she cleaned up some palm branches and things that had fallen around the pool due to the wind! There is a big beautiful mahogany tree that hangs over the dock and pool area. The Sun shines on the pool area in the morning but after 10am, you have to keep moving your chair out of the shade till finally there’s no deck area with sun where you can put your lounge chair, so by 11:30 you have to move to the south end of the dock to get full sun. Then there’s sun on the dock the rest of the day and that was perfect!! There are a couple tables and lots of chairs for sitting by the pool or on the dock. The pool area is in the shade most of the day. Granted we went in February. I’m sure it’s different throughout the year. Also the mahogany tree has this hard fruit (like mini-coconuts) that were dropping the whole time we were there because it was windy. So you have to watch out for those so they don’t fall and hit you. The pieces are sharp when they land and break apart, in the yard or on the pool deck or the dock. So just watch your step. It could also be a seasonal thing and doesn’t happen year round. But we had a few close calls and a couple did hit my daughter. It truly is a beautiful tree!! Especially for pictures!!I highly recommend the home for your vacation unless all you want is sun by the pool all day. But if you are flexible, you can find sun somewhere back there at any point during the day! The owner, Barnes, and the house manager are great and answered all our questions beforehand and after we got there!!
