Just seven miles north, Ponderosa State Park offers hiking trails, picnic areas, wildlife viewing, and a beach. McCall itself has wonderful brewpubs, restaurants, shops, galleries, and museums lining its charming downtown streets. And during the winter months, the entire area is superb for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing, with alpine skiing and snowboarding possible about 15 miles away at Brundage Mountain.

I enjoyed the size of the house and the complete kitchen for my cooking needs. However, the hot tub was a little dirty.

We like the location. Not too crowded. The backyard is fun. Have stayed before and would stay again.
It’s a little overstocked with kitchen supplies.

We enjoyed our stay for Thanksgiving week, and had a great time together. Loved the wood stove. There was some issues with dirty pans and pots that were coated in thick grease, and we found some dog poop upstairs. We were also highly disappointed with the hot tub. When we were going to use it, we discovered it had debris inside, and a thick layer of gunk along the edges.
