Huisje Beukers

What is often most unforgettable about a trip is not the planned scenery, but the unexpected warmth. 💖 My friend’s wallet was stolen including her passport, credit cards and cash. With the police station closed over the weekend and a tricky situation on our hands, it was all thanks to the host family of three who gave us their all-out assistance. They even arranged for the police from a neighboring city to meet us at the nearest station, successfully helping my friend complete the police report. We saved 1 day and managed to make the appointment with the Embassy so that my friend can fly back once she get her travel document. Thanks again for their hospitality and great help!

My sister and I chose Huisje Beukers as our accommodation in Giethoorn, and it was the perfect choice. You get a small cottage with complete privacy, surrounded by flowers, grapevines, apple trees, and pear trees, right next to a place where you can rent boats, and very close to the tourist attractions. Amid the ever-changing Dutch weather, this house served as our sanctuary and revealed a different kind of beauty with every passing moment. I recommend picking up some ingredients at a nearby supermarket—the experience of cooking and dining in this little cottage will surpass that of any restaurant in Giethoorn.

We loved the cosy home, we loved the hospitality! We felt cared for, and welcome. Anneke and Dick - you are great hosts and it was an absolute pleasure staying at your house. The kitchen was stoked, we were able to use the cano, and rent a motor boat. The cake was such a sweet (and tasty!) gesture, as well as your flexibility

we only spend 2 nights...

Zentrale Lage, sehr freundliche Gastgeber!
