Spend the night in the heart of Giethoorn along the village canal

A unique place to stay in the heart of Giethoorn, on the village canal and within walking distance of all amenities. Enjoy a restful night’s sleep in a comfortable king-size bed, from which you can watch movies on a large projection screen in the evening. The accommodation features large French doors opening onto the courtyard garden and a private entrance with free parking on the property.

The total area of the home is 100 m² and it is fully self-contained. The layout is spacious and barrier-free, making it wheelchair-accessible, including the toilet and shower. The house & veranda are completely private; the courtyard garden is shared with the residents.

There is a spacious kitchen with a dining table, a coffee maker, a dishwasher, a stove, a microwave, a toaster, and a large refrigerator. The entire house has underfloor heating. Adjacent to the kitchen is a sitting area with two single beds and a 4K TV featuring Netflix, NPO Start, Disney+, & Prime Video.

From the bed, you can watch movies on a large projection screen (3m diameter). (Includes Netflix, Disney+, Prime, Apple TV+, NPO Start, Ziggo Movies / HBO)

A baby crib, high chair, and changing mat are also available, as well as children’s toys if needed. There are fun games & books in the closet. Also available are a nice, playable acoustic guitar, a hair dryer, and an iron.

Bedding is included and made up upon arrival. There are also plenty of hand & dish towels in the cottage. Furthermore, all basic supplies are provided in the cottage: ground coffee, various types of tea, dishwasher tablets, cleaning supplies, hand soap, shampoo, toilet paper, sugar, oil, & spices.

And if anything is missing during your stay, we’ll do our best to take care of it.

We have a free two-person canoe available for guests, and you can rent an electric boat for the entire day. We also offer an à la carte breakfast service.

The spa / jacuzzi area can be booked as an optional extra. The cost is €50 for the first day and €20 for each subsequent day, including cleaning and the use of bathrobes, hammam towels, and slippers.
