Liftingstane Farmhouse

Jock and Ali were there to welcome you to the property and made you feel very welcome. Property is absolutely stunning in the quietest, most peaceful location. Huge downstairs/kitchen area, which keeps everyone together but lots of space allowing freedom so as you don't feel as if you are under each other's feet. Absolutely everything you require is here, games for children, books, bbq, outdoor seating area with table, outdoor heated storage for golf clubs, bikes etc. Super utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, which is great providing an excellent space to get dirty walking boots off, etc, before entering the house properly. The kitchen has all appliances to allow you to cook for a family with ease and dishwasher to help with cleaning afterwards. There is plenty of hot water and great showers in the bathrooms. Property is also dog friendly, which is a bonus for lots. Can't fault this property at all. We don't want to leave, and we will definitely be returning. Huge 10 out of 10 😊

The house and furnishings were exceptional. Very warm, even in near zero (deg C) temperatures and also very spacious. Pastoral setting, peaceful and close enough to Thornhill and various extraordinary drives and walks.

That I couldn't stay longer!
