About this house rental
Fanningstown House, is a charming country house offering luxurious self catering accommodation, for ten people in an idyllic location. It is surrounded by mature trees, hedging and manicured lawns. There is ample space for children to play plus a patio with seating for outdoor entertaining. A standalone garden room where you can relax and take time out for a morning coffee.
The accommodation comprise of kitchen, dinning room with seating for ten people, a sitting room leading to a conservatory with a large screen smart TV and open fire place.

There are four bedrooms upstairs, two ensuite with walk in wardrobes, two share a large bathroom recently refurbished. Downstairs there is a bedroom with access to bathroom. You have access to a laundry area and cloak room,.
It is an ideal base for touring the south, west region, family gatherings, wedding accommodation, golfers, walkers. There is a great choice of golf courses Adare, Ballybunion, Lahinch and Doonbeg. Limerick Greenway, Ballyhoura mountains for walking ,cycling or hiking.
It is five minutes drive to the village of Adare and thirty five minutes drive to Shannon airport.

Breakfast food for the first day was graciously provided by the owner. Accommodations for our 7 adults family was very spacious. If coming from the US be aware the are switches in the bathroom to active hot water in the showers. We had a hiccup with the hot water supply but the owner was very quick to resolve the issue. The close proximity to town (6 minute drive) provide d restaurants/pubs, food store, pharmacy, gasoline, church, shopping…. I highly recommend this house.

Angela’s property was very clean and had well appointed rooms. The breakfast items were perfectly chosen for a nice morning meal.

Absolutely stunning house, everything was perfect ! Closely located to the Woodland place hotel which has a fab restaurant . We will definitely be back. Angela was so easy to deal with and left us a very thoughtful breakfast , some fab bread and Orange juice and eggs, what a lovely touch .

The house was nice and big and accommodated my group who was in town for a wedding. We thought the house would be a lot closer to town than it was, so just had to manage transportation. Stay was nice for the most part however we did see what appeared to be mouse droppings show up at different areas as well as some pretty large spiders throughout the house. The host was communicative however failed to provide the type of check out instructions that she expected to see which resulted in some disagreement and an overcharge. Overall if not for the tense communication afterward, the stay was fine.
