About this cottage rental

Large two-bedroom duplex cottage with front living room. Includes pullout sofa bed for a single person in the front room plus a king-sized bed in the first bedroom, then a queen bed in the second bedroom. Single bath with historic claw-foot cast-iron tub with shower. Includes flat screen TV., granite-top galley contemporary kitchen complete with dishwasher, microwave, and two-burner ceramic glass cooktop. One block to central main street, however we are on a quiet side street.

The property is located close to town on a quiet street. Overall the cottage is very cute with old fashioned furnishings. The beds were very comfortable and having a kitchen is so handy. The entrance had quite a lot of cobwebs and could have used a bit of sprucing up but the inside was clean and tidy. I only would recommend a bit of cleaning on the outside and maybe a couch or more comfortable seating for the front room.

We loved staying at this property. The location was fabulous and the cottage was cozy. We were able to walk to everything in downtown Calistoga. It's a great place to stay to enjoy spa appointments, hikes in the Bothe National Park, and the wonderful restaurants and shops in town. The host, Adele, was lovely,

The house was located steps from restaurants and shops. Parking was easy with parking on the street. The house is great for families. The kitchen can only be accessed through a bedroom which was not ideal. There is a small refrigerator and freezer which was great to store our beverages and snacks. The kitchen was minimally stocked with only salt, pepper, coffee and cooking oil. The restroom has an antique bathtub which is difficult to get in and out off. Adele was great and super responsive to our needs.

Loved the location and the town of Calistoga. The property is dated and the you can only get to the kitchen through a bedroom so it is not very conducive for two adult couples. The A/C unit in one of the bedrooms was so loud that it could not be used at night.

Overall we had a great stay. The beds were comfortable, parking was easy, and the neighborhood is quiet. My only 2 complaints are that the place is dusty in most corners and the fake plants and the tv has very limited channels. It could be nice to try to hook up something up to watch a streaming service.

- good communication with owner - expedited plumbing issue quickly - only thing I wish I would have know is that the kitchenette is attached and through the 2 bedroom, meaning you have to walk through that bedroom to get your morning cup of coffee. Otherwise, a very nice place.

The location of this beautiful getaway was the absolute highlight. We ambled around downtown Calistoga several times and had great access to dining and shopping. We also loved the cozy front porch area, where we spent each morning and several evenings just enjoying the neighborhood and ambience of wine country. The kitchen is limited, but sufficient, and this was quite okay because we were not there to cook any big meals at home. The host was available for anything we needed and we had a lovely conversation about things to do. We all would definitely come back!!

We had a nice 3 night stay in Calistoga and the property was very convenient to walking to town. The property could use a deep cleaning as it was quite dusty. The AC worked well but was a bit musty smelling. Owner was responsive to our requests which was very helpful. Overall, a good value.

Overall worked for our stay although could use a refresh on linens, a floor wash, vacuum and a note that the kitchen is through the master bedroom. The shower mat must be replaced. Adele is lovely to work with. Wine country is always a blast.

This 2 bedroom cottage in the heart of Calistoga was the perfect place for our family's stay over the weekend. First off, Adele was a pleasure to work with, very communicative and an easy check in process. The cottage is an amazing value for the space you get and the location! We loved walking into town for coffee, lunch, wine tastings, and yummy dinners. The beds are incredibly comfortable as well! Would definitely recommend.

The property manager called a day before our trip and explained check-in and accommodated my request for early check-in. Very much appreciated it. The location was the best part, very close to the wedding we were attending. Bathroom was old and kitchen was small and had to get there via a bedroom, which was inconvenient. Would have liked the place vacuumed and cleaned better. Even with that , overall it worked out due to the location.

The location for this rental is absolutely perfect with a block walk to the heart of Calistoga. The hosts are very kind and did a great job of communicating and being flexible with some of our craziness. The layout is very unique with the kitchen being a pass through from a bedroom, so keep that in mind while booking. It worked perfectly well for us and I would definitely book there again.
