I WAS THE DEVELOPER'S REAL ESTATE BROKER AT HONUA KAI FROM 2009 to 2016 when we sold out! I am also a licensed attorney in both Hawaii (Bar No. 8295) and California (Bar No 178241)(voluntary inactive). Disclaimer: Never wire money as a form of payment. If the rate seems to good to be true, it is.


This explanation may help since Honua Kai can be confusing. The construction of the Luana Townhouses is 100% complete, Honua Kai is now 700 individually owned condominiums that belong to a Homeowners Association. Honua Kai is not a hotel. Every owner chooses to either use the onsite management which is now Outrigger or they choose an outside rental company (ORC). Outrigger is not the "Resort" they're just the onsite managment company. Now they own the front desk area and some other areas at Honua Kai, but all guests have access to the pools, restaurant, stores, Spa, fitness center and concierge


Please take a look at our photos and you'll see that they are actual pictures of the unit and upon your arrival you will say that the pictures do not do this place justice. Also, know that this unit has the highly desirable 1,315 sq. ft. floorplan. If you want to make your trip special this is the unit for you.


UPON DEPARTURE YOU LEAVE YOUR KEYS ON THE COUNTER AND GO.


We offer the following:


-With us you rent unit Konea 403, you don't rent a category and find out what you get when you arrive at the front desk. With us you get actual pictures of the unit and the actual view from the unit.

-Free Internet Resort Wide

-No worrying about when the maid service is going to interrupt your day since we don't offer housekeeping.

-We personally see that this unit is cleaned to our high standards.

-Use of swimming pool, exercise room, and concierge service. We also provide beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, paper products and binoculars.

-Charge all resort costs on your credit card.

-Our Aloha Welcome Package which includes coffee K-pods, Chilled Champagne, Hawaiian Chocolates, Terra Pure Green Tea Shampoo and Soaps.

-- We take your stay personally, so anything that comes up, we will do our best to take care of it. We want you happy and we want you back!

-We are fortunate to Live Aloha everyday and our goal is for our guests to Live Aloha while they are our guests. Whether it's just another trip to Maui or the only trip you'll ever take to Maui, our mission is to make it special.


The bellmen are all real good guys that work hard that are ready to assist you with your luggage up to the unit.


Currently self and valet parking are free. (subject to change) Only one car per unit is allowed in the underground parking garage. This is subject to change.

We have stayed at Honea Kai many times and this is by far the best suite we have had. Overlooking the quiet pool and excellent views to the ocean. Joe our host was great at getting back quickly with our questions. Very easy to deal with. Suite is lovely with 2 king rooms with ensuites. Beds are comfortable, rooms clean. Well equipped with anything you may need. Had a great visit. Highly recommend.

This was our second stay at the Honua Kai (Konea) so we knew we already loved the property. This year we splurged for a 2 bedroom and this unit did not disappoint! It is absolutely huge. Nano door/windows that open up to paradise. Perfect view of the resort and ocean (catch a sunset from the deck). I actually enjoyed that the condo is mostly carpeted, so you don’t feel gritty sand everywhere. Everything you need is available in the kitchen. Easy key coded entrance. Parking is so easy and free. Towels always available. Beds were super comfortable and we ran the AC at night which worked great. We will be back!
