I WAS THE DEVELOPER'S REAL ESTATE BROKER AT HONUA KAI FROM 2009 to 2016 when we sold out! I am also a licensed attorney in both Hawaii (Bar No. 8295) and California (Bar No 178241)(voluntary inactive). Disclaimer: Never wire money as a form of payment. If the rate seems to good to be true, it is.


This explanation may help since Honua Kai can be confusing. The construction of the Luana Townhouses is 100% complete, Honua Kai is now 700 individually owned condominiums that belong to a Homeowners Association. Honua Kai is not a hotel. Every owner chooses to either use the onsite management which is now Outrigger or they choose an outside rental company (ORC). Outrigger is not the "Resort" they're just the onsite managment company. Now they own the front desk area and some other areas at Honua Kai, but all guests have access to the pools, restaurant, stores, Spa, fitness center and concierge


Please take a look at our photos and you'll see that they are actual pictures of the unit and upon your arrival you will say that the pictures do not do this place justice. Also, know that this unit has the highly desirable 1,315 sq. ft. floorplan. If you want to make your trip special this is the unit for you.


UPON DEPARTURE YOU LEAVE YOUR KEYS ON THE COUNTER AND GO.


We offer the following:


-With us you rent unit Konea 703, you don't rent a category and find out what you get when you arrive at the front desk. With us you get actual pictures of the unit and the actual view from the unit.

-Free Internet Resort Wide

-No worrying about when the maid service is going to interrupt your day since we don't offer housekeeping.

-We personally see that this unit is cleaned to our high standards.

-Use of swimming pool, exercise room, and concierge service. We also provide beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, paper products and binoculars.

-Charge all resort costs on your credit card.

-Our Aloha Welcome Package which includes coffee K-pods, Chilled Champagne, Hawaiian Chocolates, Terra Pure Green Tea Shampoo and Soaps.

-- We take your stay personally, so anything that comes up, we will do our best to take care of it. We want you happy and we want you back!

-We are fortunate to Live Aloha everyday and our goal is for our guests to Live Aloha while they are our guests. Whether it's just another trip to Maui or the only trip you'll ever take to Maui, our mission is to make it special.


The bellmen are all real good guys that work hard that are ready to assist you with your luggage up to the unit.


Currently self and valet parking are free. (subject to change) Only one car per unit is allowed in the underground parking garage. This is subject to change.

We absolutely loved this place! The room was spacious, and the view was incredible—you really can’t beat it. It felt quiet and private, and we enjoyed having breakfast outside while taking it all in.We stayed with our 4-year-old and 15-year-old, and both of them loved the pool and being less than a five-minute walk from the beach. Having the beach so close made it super easy to pop back for a midday nap if needed.The carpet was soft, plush, and spotless—a refreshing change from typical hotel carpets. The entire property was clean, well-maintained, and bug-free, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Having a washer and dryer with plenty of space was a huge bonus—I definitely could have packed less!We also appreciated the thoughtful extras like beach chairs and a boogie board. The only minor thing I’d note is that the sunshade umbrella is small and not ideal for windy days, so you might consider bringing your own or buying one while on the island.Overall, this rental made our Maui trip easy, comfortable, and unforgettable. Highly recommend!

This 2 bedroom/2 bathroom property is on the top floor of the Konea tower and is located closest to the ocean with a direct view of the pools and spectacular sunsets. The property is well maintained and an excellent choice to stay at for a discerning traveler. Joe was excellent to work with and the pride of ownership is evident.

This property has everything a family needs to enjoy a relaxing vacation in Maui. The view from the lanai was absolutely amazing. My fondest memories on our trip was sitting out on the lanai drinking coffee or a glass of wine. The unit was extremely clean and well stocked with everything needed to cook and entertain our family of 6. Joe was an excellent host and readily available if needed. The Honua Kai resort was very nice and we enjoyed time at the beach and in the pools/spas. I could see staying here and never having to leave the property, because everything is right there. It is also in close proximity to many fun activities for the family. I can’t wait to come back.
