Welcome to 59 Captain's View! An exceptional coastal retreat located in Tybee Island's exclusive Captain's Row neighborhood. Offering ocean views, a private, heated pool, elevator access, spacious outdoor living areas, and easy access to North Beach, this six-bedroom home was thoughtfully designed for family vacations, group getaways, and unforgettable gatherings by the coast.
Nestled on Tybee Island's stunning North End, 59 Captain's View offers a unique blend of privacy and convenience. Guests can enjoy access to two nearby beach crossovers, including the scenic Turtle Pond pathway, while remaining just minutes from the Tybee Lighthouse, North Beach attractions, local restaurants, shops, and historic Savannah. Whether you're spending your mornings walking the shoreline, afternoons by the pool, or evenings watching the sunset over the Savannah River coastline, this location provides the perfect backdrop for a memorable island escape.
Spanning three spacious levels, the home offers multiple gathering spaces while providing plenty of privacy for larger groups. An elevator services each floor, making it easy to move between levels with luggage, groceries, and beach gear. Thoughtfully designed with bedrooms located throughout the home, 59 Captain's View comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests while allowing everyone room to relax and unwind. Additional conveniences include parking accommodations for up to four vehicles directly at the home.
The top floor serves the custom gourmet kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances, generous prep space, and ample seating between the dining table and breakfast bar. The adjoining living room offers comfortable seating, a large television, and direct access to an ocean-view balcony where guests can enjoy coastal breezes and views of Tybee's beautiful shoreline. This level also includes a guest bedroom with a queen bed, a walk-in shower, and a convenient laundry room.
The middle level features four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The spacious primary suite offers a king bed, private balcony access, and a luxurious ensuite bathroom complete with a walk-in shower and jetted soaking tub. A second king suite also enjoys balcony access and a tub and shower combination. Two additional guest bedrooms, one with two twin beds and another with a queen bed, share convenient access to a full hallway bathroom with walk-in shower, creating flexible accommodations for families and groups of all sizes.
On the ground level, guests will find an additional guest bedroom featuring a queen bed, walk-in shower, and direct access to the pool area, making it an ideal retreat for guests seeking extra privacy and easy outdoor access.

What is parking like for this home?
Guests will have access to off-street parking for up to four vehicles in the paved driveway. Please note that parking is not permitted inside the garage or on the street. If your group is traveling with additional vehicles, parking may be available at the Oceanfront Cottage Rentals office with advance approval. Please contact our team prior to arrival so we can assist with parking arrangements.
*This home offers pool heating for an additional fee of $30 per day which can be added to your reservation after booking. Must be requested at least 72 hours prior to arrival.
*For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have an external security camera located by the pool.*

Very clean and beautiful home, great location. We had a plumbing issue (city's fault) and it was taken care of same day, on a holiday no less. We got a refund for that day. So we would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home in a great location. We thought the pool was heated and there was access to a hot tub but we could have mis read the listing. Overall we had a wonderful time and loved this stay.

This was an interesting week at 59 Captains view, Tybee Island. I’ll list my pros and cons and you decide if it’s for you.
Pros…….
*Beautiful,spacious, clean home in nice neighborhood.
*Two wonderful balconies, with a good view of ocean, kinda far view, but a view nonetheless.
*Ample dining space
*Bathroom on each of the three floors
Con’s…….
*Its 2022, need to get keyless entry. We had to go to rental office to pick up 2 sets of keys before getting to house.
*Upon arrival the elevator was not working properly. They sent maintenance and they fixed it. One hour later my mother got stuck on elevator for about 8/10 minutes. We never used it again the rest of the trip.
*Dryer made a horrible loud noise.
*The walls/floors are paper thin and you can hear every footstep above you.
*The downstairs bedroom was arctic cold, middle floor temp was ok, and top floor was too hot. If the people downstairs adjust temperature to not freeze then the people upstairs roast.
*The three baby gates they have there to block steps off are all broken. Although I read a previous reviews from 8 months ago saying they fixed the problem, they didn’t.
*And finally we got a text message on the first night there at 8pm saying we were being too loud and to abide by the quiet hours. Quiet hours are from 10pm-7pm. We also got the same message on the last night there. So we received 2 “warmings” at 8pm and again at 7:30 telling us to be quiet on our vacation.
I personally will not be staying there again.
