Situated on the North End of Tybee and in close proximity to the lighthouse, Captain’s Row has a private beach cross over a turtle pond and bird sanctuary with a delightful gazebo in center of pond. Complimentary concierge service is available at DeSoto Beach Hotel.
Due to the City of Tybee's Noise Ordinance and Good Neighbor Policy the pool is closed from 10 pm to 7 am.

We rented this home for our annual cousins trip and it was perfect! There were plenty of rooms and everything is laid out so that we all had plenty of room. The elevator was a huge plus for old folks like me. There were a few things that needed to be repaired in the house, but it was a perfect trip!

When we arrived, the upstairs toilet had not been flushed, which led me to believe the house hadn’t been properly cleaned. The floors were dirty and there was no broom in sight. The handle to the bedroom (also previous reviews mention this), slides off. So, there’s no good way to get in and out of that bedroom. I’d hoped this would be fixed, since they were aware of the problem a year ago. The front door is extremely hard to lock and unlock. The pool had not been vacuumed, so the bottom of it was pretty dirty. The top balcony door doesn’t latch well. If the wind blows, the door will open. Overall, the house was nice, big, and accommodating for our large group. Would stay again, but I hope they pay closer attention to cleaning detail and they fix the issues with the house. The cleaning fee alone is plenty enough to have the house cleaned appropriately!

Nice, easily accessible place with an interior elevator to accommodate aging family members with limited mobility so we could all stay together. Nicely furnished and colorful rooms with lots of options to suit every need. Recommended!

This property was great for what we needed! The top floor had an open concept and 4 bathrooms was a huge plus. However, the property was not very clean when we arrived. We found finger nail clippings in the bathroom and a huge hairball on the floor. Several palmetto bugs were found inside as well. Also, most of the door knobs and handles were broken. We were able to lock the doors, but it was a task. The owner needs to put a little time and money into this property in order to make it worth a higher rating.
