You won’t find many beachside stays like this for the price. Marimar is a budget-friendly, pet-friendly bungalow just steps from the sand in Rhosneigr, offering unbeatable access to the coast without the premium price tag.
Inside, there’s a cosy, lived-in feel. The spacious lounge is light and bright, with a large L-shaped sofa, a wall-mounted TV, and a fireplace for those cooler months. The dining table seats six comfortably, perfect for shared meals or a board game marathon. The kitchen is practical and well-equipped, with plenty of space to cook up family meals.
All on one level, the property sleeps five across three bedrooms: a double, a twin, and a single. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, basin, and toilet. It’s simple, easy, and does the job.
Outside, you’ve got a secure, enclosed garden, ideal for kids and pets and a paved area at the front for extra space. With off-road parking and just a short walk into the centre of Rhosneigr, you’ve got everything you need on your doorstep.
The Neighborhood:
Rhosneigr (said: ROSS-nigh-ger) is one of the most dog-friendly villages on Anglesey. It's a foodie haven, a watersports mecca, and somehow packs bars, restaurants, independent shops and golden beaches into one small stretch of coastline curving round the village. Whether you're a couple, a family three generations deep, or bringing a dog who's never seen so much sand, it works.
It's on the pricier side, but one visit shows why. Two stunning beaches wrap the village, Traeth Crigyll and Traeth Llydan, the surf's some of the best on the Island, and the food punches well above its weight. Mornings belong to the water, with Funsport or Gecko Surf on the seafront covering surfing, kitesurfing and paddleboarding for all ages. Evenings bring cocktails, fresh food at the Blue Olive, or the Sandy Mount House or fish and chips from Scarletts on the high street, eaten on the beach or back at the house.
Getting Around:
Rhosneigr is best explored by car, with free parking available at the property and throughout the village. The nearest train station, just 5 minutes away at Ty Croes, connects you to Holyhead and Bangor

It is a little dated now the 1 bathroom requires updating it feels tired due to no open plan which holiday makers like and gives space, get position parking for 2 small garden but beach on doorstep

We’ve booked with AHL before so know the high standards of the properties they manage-this was no exception. The property was very clean and well maintained, with a bag of welcome goodies!
The property itself is in an excellent location, with access to the beach at the bottom of the road. Although on-street parking was busy, the drive is long enough for two cars. The house was a little dated but well maintained and clean. There was a great selection of games to play, too, and a smart TV. There is a fire for colder nights, but instructions on how to light and where to purchase logs would definitely be helpful! Beds were comfy and the rooms were quiet, despite the property’s central location. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Marimar and will definitely be coming back.

The accommodation is in the perfect location and general cleanliness was of a good standard. However the mattress's needed replacing as one had a spring about to come through. The bathroom was well below the standard you would expect, with black mould round the bath. It was unsafe to use the shower with a fixed screen and no anti-slip bath mat provided.
