Hen Gi Mor features three spacious reception rooms. The living rooms are furnished with inviting sofas and chairs, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. One reception room has patio doors leading to the garden and a Smart TV, ideal for keeping an eye on the children. The two front reception rooms feature large bay windows that let in natural light, with one designated for TV watching and the other as a quiet room for reading or napping. The spacious open-plan kitchen is fully equipped, including an air fryer for quick and easy meals, making it the heart of the home for cooking and socialising. At the back, you'll find a handy boot room and a family shower room, perfect for rinsing off salty hair and sandy toes after a day at the beach.
The first-floor hosts four roomy bedrooms: a king-size double bedroom, a second double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a twin bedroom, and a bunk room. The family bathroom with shower over bath completes the living accommodation upstairs. With a total of three bathrooms throughout the property, there's plenty of space for everyone to get ready for the day.
Hen Gi Mor boasts front and back gardens perfect for playing and dining al fresco. The back patio area, located next to the kitchen, is ideal for outdoor dining and leads down to a lawned area for relaxing or playing. The front garden features a garden bench for enjoying the surroundings and sea views. There is parking for three cars on the driveway and more parking can be found on the street if required.
This property is just a 3-minute walk from the convenience store, 5 minutes to the village, and a mere 2-minute stroll to the beach. A wonderful base for dog walkers and families with youngsters who wake early.

We have stayed here several times and it is a wonderful spot and we had a great time as always.
Only complaint is that this year's welcome pack was pretty abysmal compared with previous years.

We've previously stayed in several properties in Rhosneigr, so have some basis for comparison. Hen Gi Mor probably wins in terms of location. Really short distance to local shop, Scarletts' chippy and Aydin's excellent pizzas. Also a very short walk (2 minutes) to the beautiful and expansive Traeth Crigyll beach, where our two dogs could run and splash. A good view of the lovely sunsets from the front of the property too.
The property itself is, I guess, adequate. Inside, the downstairs is spacious, though upstairs the bedrooms are rather small with limited storage. Throughout though, it felt a bit tatty, with various things missing, loose or not quite working. Outside, because the road is on a slope, there are a large number of steps around the property, many of uneven size, so you do need to walk carefully. Garden furniture is restricted to one round wooden table with integral seating for eight. The very narrow drive did allow us to park three cars, though. The property is reasonably dog secure once the large gate to the drive is shut, provided your dog is not large enough to jump over the low front wall. Our two medium-sized cockapoos were fine. Outside, again, everything looked as though it could do with a bit of TLC.
I'm trying to be honest rather than negative. I should emphasise that nothing stopped us having a really enjoyable week. My option below though, that I would recommend this property to others, is still somewhat conditional on a handyman going through the property to find and fix a few faults!

Great location heart of the village and a few strides away from the beach perfect for the dogs. Lots of space and bathrooms with plenty of appliances such as airfryer, microwave etc
However the TVs were basic and it lacked a little tlc. The house is very tired and needs a revamp on both inside and outside.
Parking was no issues private and kerb side. The gardens were not secure for big dogs. Wrap around garden with low front walls. Dated garden furniture. Overall we enjoyed our stay but wouldn’t go back to this property

Great location, beds comfortable and a high standard of cleanliness. We had everything we required although a larger chopping board would be helpful, and that’s the only thing that was missing…. My family and I would be very happy to return in the future.
