Townhouse Can Coa by SunVillas Mallorca

This was our second stay at Ca'n Coa, and once again it didn't disappoint. The house is as per the photos, simply furnished in modern style with plenty of indoor space for our group of 2xcouples and 1 single adult. The kitchen is very well-equipped and we appreciated the rose wine, water, jam, butter and bread in the welcome pack. There were also a few dishwasher tablets, a bottle of washing up liquid and cleaning cloths. The beds are comfortable and the showers powerful, with plenty of hot water. The outdoor terraces offer fabulous views over the rooftops to the church and top of Calvary steps. They are particularly lovely and peaceful early morning and in the evening. A welcome addition this year was a large umbrella over the dining table, which meant it was usable until around midday, and later in the afternoon/evening. The house is very well-located, 10-14 mins walk from bus stops, 5-9 mins walk into the heart of Pollensa's bars, restaurants and shops (depending on your pace - our group was mixed). There was a problem with the pool pump, which stopped working after a few days, leaving the pool looking very 'milky'; it was very quickly fixed the same day after contacting the agent, which was much appreciated.

The pool terrace with its two sunbeds, and the sun terrace with four sunbeds, have very little shade (none on the sun terrace); in 38-40 degree heat (June 2026) they were unusable for most of the day. We did manage to fashion a shady 'den' for one person using our washing line, pegs and our own pool towels, and two others huddled under the one small umbrella by the pool, but two of us had to sit in full sun if we wanted to be outside. There was no mid-stay clean (we were there for ten nights Weds-Sat, and cleaning day was Weds, two days before we left, so perhaps it wasn't thought worth it). Not a big problem for us, there were spare towels in the room we didn't use. Out of the owner's/agent's control, was the constant loud noise from 8am - 7-7.30pm from a house renovation 4 doors along; drilling, tile-cutting, hammering was on some days unbearable. We did of course go out on full-day trips to Port de Pollensa, Alcudia, and into Pollensa itself, but some days we would just have liked to sunbathe and read in the quiet, which wasn't really possible most of the time.

This is a lovely townhouse in Pollenca. The company which lets the house seems very organised and send me all the paperwork before we arrived. The house is in excellent condition. There are four bedrooms. 2 double rooms with en suite and two twin rooms which share a separate bathroom. The pool is small but perfect for us. The people who run the house were very helpful when we got locked out of the house. They were very quick to respond.

There were a few small details which could have been better. This is a house in which 8 people can stay (maximum). There were only 1 small toilet roll in each of the bathrooms. I honestly think they could have supplied 8 rolls (even though we were only 4/5 people). Also in the bathrooms there was a soap dispenser at the sink. 2 of these ran out before we left and one of those was in a bathroom which only one person was using! It just seemed really cheap that they didn't fill the containers to last 6 days. The dinner plates are too big for the dish washer. They don't fit. They should be changed to a size which allows for them to be placed in the dishwasher. There was no salad bowl. It was either a famine or a feast with the utensils. Loads of glasses.... but no salad bowl :( None of these are the end of the world but they would have made the stay more comfortable.

This is our second stay here. It is beautifully presented in every way. The facilities & equipment are first class as is the cleanliness. The different levels provide fantastic view points over the town - esp BBQ area & ‘crows nest’ for pre-din drinks - albeit steps could be a problem for some. Location superb 5 mins walk from town. All-round excellent!!

Nothing really. Parking is difficult outside property for dropping off bags/shopping but car park is only a few minutes away.

The cockroaches. One when we arrived. Did let the company know. However more appeared on second last day of holiday.
