Overall, Lizard Palms has the perfect backyard for entertaining friends and family on your next vacation.
Upon entering the home, you'll immediately notice all the beautiful decor, high-end furniture, vaulted ceilings, and gorgeous hardwood floors throughout this recently remodeled home. The first floor has a spacious open floor plan complete with a living room, kitchen, and formal dining area in addition to two bedrooms and a bathroom. The living room is the perfect place for family movie nights with two large couches, two armchairs, and a large Vizio flatscreen TV. The kitchen is located right next to the living room and features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and subway tile. It also comes fully stocked with all the cooking utensils you could possibly need, including a Keurig. Furthermore, the formal dining area is located right off of the kitchen and features a large farmhouse dining table at least eight guests.
The home has a total of five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two of the five bedrooms are located on the first floor, as well as one of the home's three bathrooms. The bathroom features granite countertops, a walk-in shower with seating, and chic tile floors. In addition, both of the first floor bedrooms have two twin/twin bunk beds and flatscreen TVs. Upstairs, you'll find three more bedrooms as well as two more bathrooms. The third bedroom features a queen-sized bed and a flatscreen TV and the fourth bedroom has a king-sized bed, flatscreen TV, and a gulf view. Perfect size and location for our family of 9 and three generations! Close to beach access, golf cart was convenient and bikes appreciated by the teens.

My group and I were in town for a girls trip and this property was nothing short of amazing! Just steps away from the beach, but tucked away off the main road which provided just the right amount of privacy. The house was clean and equipped with a fresh set of towels for every guest. The property exceeded our expectations and we would defintely stay here again!

The location was great but definitely some cons with this location and agency:
- communication via emails and vrbo messages was horrible. Took weeks to get a response so I would just call. Once I checked in and got a number to text with, the communication was much better.
- the check in was pretty frustrating. They told me no early check in and coming from Chicago, there were only 2 flight options. So we ended up sitting at a restaurant for hours while the property sat empty and already cleaned. Then I got a call and was told that the property did allow early check in but it was pretty much already check in time.
- microwave was broke and they informed me of a replacement which was fine, but then they wouldn’t work with me on the check in which was frustrating.
- pool pump stopped working and the pool got very hot and murky. They did get someone out pretty quick but we lost a half day in the pool.
- propane ran out on the last night while cooking so we had to finish cooking inside. I did not inform them since we had to finish cooking the food right away to get the kids fed.
- golf cart only has half tank of gas so I had to fill that up
Overall the house was ok and the pool was good for kids. The location is great and the bikes, beach equipment and golf cart helped a lot. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.
