We invite you to stay awhile in our villa for six, at the Ocean Gate Villas complex of South Forest Beach.
“Beauty and the Beach” (Unit 15) is a true, private, end unit, with a side yard, large deck and on the edge of the bicycle path. We are a five-minute walk to the most beautiful beach by way of a wooded, beach path. This expansive and uncrowded beach area is nestled on the edge of Sea Pines with private homes, not hotels. From our villa, by foot or by pedal, we are near beach-side grilles and sixty restaurants within a three-mile radius. Coligny Plaza, the downtown area, is less than two miles away.
Additionally, our villa is literally steps to the pickleball and tennis court, a basketball hoop and the swimming pool. It is such a convenience enjoying these amenities in YOUR own backyard. Plus, this small, friendly establishment is uncrowded, rarely busy, and is not a noisy one.
As our name implies, this is a beautiful place and beach. Our villa is bright, light and uncluttered. You’ll appreciate the breathtaking Live Oak trees dripping in Spanish Moss as well as the (official state tree) Palmetto Palms. The living room furniture is comfortable with a Smart HD TV perched above the marble-top console. You’ll find DVD’s for both TV's on the main level and upstairs. INTERNET and cable TV are provided free of charge. The bar chairs and the high-top table are fun for gaming, socializing, and dining. Inside the teal cabinet, you’ll discover glass (and plasticware) for beer, wine and margaritas. A “Ninja” blender and a “Bullet” mixer for making smoothies or cocktails, and glass pitchers or a large thermos are provided to contain your creations. The kitchen is fully stocked with glassware, dishware, plastic containers, baking accessories, quality pots and pans and we’ve included a spice carousel. Enjoy brewed coffee (Keurig) or tea at the kitchen table with a view of the greenery and NOT a parking lot.
Additionally, on the main level, there’s a half bathroom with a vanity cabinet and a nearly-new, full size, washer and dryer in the laundry room. There you’ll find a basket of beach towels for your use. Feel free to make use of the beach chairs, and the boogie board for the young (or young at heart).
Upstairs, enter the LOFT with a single, pull-out, sofa bed and an extra-large, uncovered, picture window. Beautiful sun rays provide light to both the upstairs and the main level. This area has two, swivel chairs, a contemporary, multi-height desk and a DVD player.
In the Primary bedroom relax on the comfy Queen-sized bed and enjoy the Smart HD TV. This bedroom has plenty of storage space and has its’ own 3-piece bathroom (tub and shower, sink, commode) with vanity. Right next door is the Guest Bedroom accommodating four: a bunk bed with a single (twin) on top and a double (full sized) bed on bottom. Plus, there is a stand alone single (twin) bed in the room and plenty of storage. This room also has its’ own 3-piece bathroom and vanity.
At dusk, perhaps while you are grilling shrimp on the “barbe”, you may encounter a deer or two, if you’re very still. While relaxing on the deck, you are likely to hear the Atlantic waves when the breeze is in your direction.
