This listing is perfect for families visiting the Raystown Lake area. The home is located just three miles from the Seven Points Recreation Area, offering easy access to boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, dining, camping, and biking on the Allegrippis Trails.
The house features two bedrooms and one full bath, including an updated Bath Fitter tub/shower with sturdy safety bars. The primary bedroom includes a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom offers twin bunk beds plus an additional twin bed.
We strive to provide a family-friendly environment. While we certainly appreciate a relaxing evening around the campfire, parties and large gatherings are not permitted. If your plans include late-night entertaining with outside guests, we kindly ask that you consider other accommodations. While neighbors are few and far between, we value and respect those nearby.
The home is fully carpeted and offers ample parking for boats, along with plenty of space for kids to run and play. Guests are welcome to use the washer and dryer located in the basement; however, please note that the basement is not considered living space.
Although you’ll enjoy a peaceful setting just five minutes from the lake, you’re also conveniently located near local attractions—only seven miles from shopping and dining in Huntingdon, eight miles from Juniata College, thirty-five miles from Altoona, and forty miles from Penn State University.
Our property also features a charming cottage located just across the driveway—ideal for extended family or friends who want to stay nearby while enjoying their own space. The cottage accommodates up to four guests (VRBO #1028372). Please note that each home is rented separately, so check availability for both if planning a group stay.

What a peaceful place to spend a few nights while visiting family in Huntingdon! We appreciated the big, comfortable, clean couches and overall cleanliness of the home. It was roomy and had everything we needed…so much nicer than staying in a hotel room or two. While it’s an older home, it’s very cozy and has clearly been well-loved and cared for over the years. We’d certainly stay here again on our next visit to central PA. Thank you very much for hosting my parents, my son and me! Beautiful views!

We enjoyed our time at the house . It was very clean, cozy, and had the perfect amount of space for our four kids to run around outside . We all enjoyed the sun room and watching the wildlife outside. It was a peaceful environment and we will hopefully be able to come again as a family in the future .
