About this house rental
Lake Charlevoix will be perfect for your next vacation. This Beach house is located on a wooded 10 acre lot.The first 300 feet of the water is just waist deep and pure sand bottom which provides warm water for leisurely swimming. A meandering creek and babbling brook, defines one side of the property and the other side is heavily wooded to insure the utmost privacy or you may choose to take long walks or jog along the beach.
Enjoy a nature walk or bike ride down private 1/4 mile private drive to Evergreen Lane and hunt for Petoskey Stones at Two Mile Point and take-in the panoramic sunset from the main body of Lake Charlevoix. Also just a short walk to the Castle which is rich in history and fully restored from the early 1900's, now a venue for history, art, antique and craft fairs. Only ten minutes to town.
At 17,000 acres, Lake Charlevoix is the third largest inland lake in Michigan with access to Lake Michigan. It is a great destination for boating, sailing, skiing, and fishing. The city of Charlevoix is 3 miles away with many excellent restaurants, shopping and public park w/concerts.
Amenities include a swing,dock, fire pit, bike path, basketbal, out door shower. 3 bedrooms with three queen size beds, the 4th room with four bunk beds. The dining table seats eight, plus a game table which seats four; many board games are available.

Beautiful spot with a great beach for the kids. House and shed were outfitted with everything needed to enjoy a week on the water. Little disappointed that the dock did not come all the way to the shore, like shown in the pics, but wasn’t a deal breaker by any means. Definitely stay here again.

Beautiful views
Difficult for my handicapped husband ( had to push his wheelchair up the grassy lawn hill) brought out own toilet " surround".
Lawn maintenance crews almost every day ( not crews fault)
Cupboards in bathroom full of their own belongings didn't leave room for our things. Only two kayaks .....we rented for Max 10 people...
Overall.....very overpriced....
$$$$
