Aloha Condos, Na Hale O Keauhou, Townhome J-2, Ocean View, AC

The good news is that the Na Hale O Keauhou complex is one of the best in all of Kona. The location is excellent and the complex is perfectly maintained from the landscape to the swimming pool and hottub. We enjoyed our stay at J2 but found it to be a bit outdated. A few examples. The outdoor BBQ is in need of replacement. It can be lit using matches etc but it is difficult to do so. The internal parts have holes in them so the flames can be seen. It is simply time to replace. Another example is the main television. It is a 32" in a cabinet that looks like it survived the Civil War. With no instructions for operation we had difficulty getting it to work. Not everyone that stays there is a Spectrum customer or is familiar with that system. Once again it simply needs to be updated. A modern 4K TV from Costco is simply so cheap it is silly not to have something up to date. Throughout the condo it is simply a matter of updating. Living room fan could not be operated without a missing remote. We were able to make one fan work but not the one with the light. The drapes for the sliding door are very thin and allow the sun to heat the room up even when closed. They are also irritating to use. A simple vertical blind would solve that. That afternoon Kona sun is hot and direct. Would be a definite 5 star condo with some updating. As it is I would give it 4 stars and most of that is the complex and location. The owners were good to work with.

Spent a week a Na Hale O Keahou and the condo had everything we could possibly need. The condo is right next to the Keahou Shopping Center so it's a quick hop to dining, the KTA grocery, and other necessities. It's also a quick hop to downtown Kailua-Kona, the Kona Country Club, Hokuli'a Golf Club, and Keahou Bay. Hope to visit again soon.

We have stayed at this property recently but not at j2. These townhomes are perfect for vacation and families. This particular unit is well kept and upgraded. The owners respond quickly if needed and there is plenty of stuff in the unit for all to enjoy and the complex is located in a great spot in Kona. Would stay here again for sure

We spent over a week at the Na Hale O Keauhou, Townhome J-2 and really enjoyed our stay. The amenities were fantastic. My daughter age 11 and 13 spent a lot of time at the pool. The pool was very close to the unit. The location is also ideal, close to shopping/restaurants and beaches. We opted for the air conditioning after the 1st day as we found that the Unit did not really cool off at night. The townhowne had beautiful views and was well equipped with everything we needed including beach toys/chairs. It was a great place to relax after a day or exploring.
