About this cottage rental
Casa Rosaura is a house of traditional architecture for 8 people (1 double room, 2 double rooms and 1 single + 1 extra), 3 bathrooms, living room with fireplace and TV, kitchen and garden with barbecue. It has been recently restored, respecting the characteristic elements of the buildings in Asturian villages. A typical Asturian "corridor" (balcony) that invites reading and contemplation of the landscape, presides over the main façade, which in the company of other elements such as the portal, the cuarterón door, stone ashlars and wooden eaves, give it a character that reminds us of past times.
Naveda is a small Asturian village located in the heart of the Comarca de la Sidra, in the municipality of Cabranes and a few kilometers from the coastal Villaviciosa. Its central location is perfect to know the main tourist attractions of the Principality of Asturias.
The location of our houses is ideal to visit the most spectacular sandy areas of Asturias and because of its proximity to the coast it is a small mountain area but Sierra del Sueve is nearby.
The Comarca de la Sidra concentrates architectural samples from Romanesque and pre-Romanesque and a short distance from Naveda you can visit Oviedo and Gijón, among others. But, above all, it is an area dotted with villages where landscape, tradition and culture do not leave the visitor indifferent.
30 minutes from Cangas de Onís, gate to Picos de Europa National Park from where you can access the Sanctuary of Covadonga and its emblematic lakes.

Bonita casa en un entorno espectacular. Se respira tranquilidad.
Buen trato del propietario, que en todo momento fue muy atento.
A título personal, echamos de menos que hubiera algún juego en la vivienda. Y como somos de ciudad echamos a faltar unas persianas; no estamos acostumbrados a dormir con luz.
Como bien se explica en el manual que facilitan en la vivienda, la red wifi funciona muy mal, y hay poca cobertura móvil. Está más que justificado por la ubicación de la vivienda, pero es un dato a tener en cuenta.

Estuvimos dos parejas en El Llagar durante el puente de Mayo y aunque fue más que un fin de semana nos supo a poco. La casa es muy acogedora y cómoda. La escogimos por estar adaptada para problemas de movilidad y estuvo más que a la altura, pero al mismo tiempo totalmente integrada en una decoración muy agradable y cálida. Este aspecto no siempre se trata con la rigurosidad que se debe. Con una ubicación muy céntrica, Naveda nos sirvió de punto de partida para excursiones tanto de montaña como de costa. Solo pediríamos haber tenido mejor tiempo pero el calor de la chimenea al llegar a casa lo compensa todo.

El sitio es especacular, con el coche puedes visitar muchos sitios. Los dueños son encantadores. El primer día pasamos un poco de frio porque la casa no tiene calefacción solo radiadores electricos en cada habitación y el baño no tiene agua caliente solo sale templada (también tiene radiador electrico). La decoración es exquisita, no le falta detalle. Estuvimos muy agusto. Hemos estado 4 parejas y muy comodos.
