Traditional with stunning views

We stayed in room no 1 on the 3rd floor. The accommodation was quite basic but functional. We had a balcony with table and chairs and the views were absolutely stunning.

There was no hot water. We ran the water for ages but it didn't come through. If we had stayed longer than one night we would have spoken to the host and probably found a tip on what to do.

Great stay close to Zurich

Lovely clean, quiet hotel in a small town. The room was on the third floor and only accessible by stairs, but easy to access. The room is a good size. The beds are two singles side by side, rather than a double bed, but that was fine as they were very comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean and we could open the windows for fresh air. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was great with lots of hot water. The wifi was good and there was a TV, desk and wardrobe. No aircon, but it was fine. Breakfast was superb! Huge amount of food, with fresh bread, meat and cheeses, fruit and very good coffee. We didn't have a communication problem even though we spoke no German and they spoke no English. We used google translate. The check in process was very quick, as they live next door. There are restaurants close by and we had no problem finding dinner. Parking is right outside the hotel as well.

Great sleep for a tired rider!

Cozy room which gave me a good needed sleep after motorbike ride; plus was also the great view from balcony. With delicious breakfast energy for the day's ride. Personnel were very friendly and gave a true feeling of taking care of a tired visitor. Truly recommend this hotel for a stay!

I’m walking so staying on a Sunday was like being a prisoner in solitary confinement. No restaurant in the hotel or town, no bar and I couldn’t even make a cup of tea

Pleasant

The bed was confortable and the view was ok. There is a couch in the room, which is a nice touch. It was ok for one evening.

The inn is in a regular appartement building, you go up the ladder to the last floor and there are 4 rooms, one of which is gonna be yours. They gave me a room with two beds, even though I was traveling alone, which was very weird considering that I didn't hear or see anyone else during my stay. The owner speaks almost no English, which made the communication very difficult. Breakfast was poor. It is clearly overpriced.

Alles in allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen

es war alles gut eingerichtet. Die Chefin war sehr freundlich. Und es hat für uns zentral gelegen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und werden auch sicher wiederkommen wenn alles gut läuft

Schade dass sie kein Restaurant mehr betreiben. Aber sie haben uns ein gutes Restaurant nicht sehr weit weg empfohlen

Le studio au RDV est très grand avec des lits confortables, une grande salle de bain, une cuisine équipée. L'hôte, tres serviable m'a prêté un ventilateur par les grandes chaleurs.

J'avoue, je trouve qu'un fruit serait appréciable au pdj. Pas de buffet mais tout à fait correct. Dès 6h45, vous avez un ouvrier qui travaille dans son atelier attenant... on va dire que les fenêtres étaient ouvertes, sinon cela pourrait aller.

Betten für uns etwas zu weich. Wir mussten Zimmer für eine ältere Dame im Vofeld wegen Erkrankung stornieren - 4 Treppen wären allerdings auch nicht machbar gewesen, hier wäre ein Hinweis hilfreich...

Das ebenerdige Studio war gut erreichbar. Das Frühstück war gut. Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür.

Die Matratzen waren etwas zu weich, die einzige Beleuchtung im Bad an der Decke erschwert eine Rasur gewaltig, da untere Gesichtspartien im Dunkeln liegen.
