A very interesting property

This is a beautiful property. It is a historic old mansion/small castle. It is ideally located between Quimper and the Concarneau. The staff cannot do enough for you. There is no elevator, so this is not an appropriate place for people with mobility problems. There is plenty of parking. There is nothing within walking distance, so you must have a car. The room does not have a coffee machine or a kettle, but the kitchen area downstairs has a coffee machine that the guests can use, which is efficient. The breakfast was good. In season, it offers more services such as a restaurant.

An ideal location for a short stay

The hotel is beautiful with lovely garden areas. Hosts were lovely and keen to help.

Our room was a little too small to be comfortable. Limited choices for gluten free. Rolls were lovely but something different would have been nice.

The finishes were bit cheap like plastic chairs , baseboard weren’t properly cut ( stuck away from wall ) Shower glass not practical and adequate , created a bit of a water mess

Authentic and Relaxing

Lovely restored building and an authentic walled garden. Plenty of parking and off the beaten track so felt secure for the motorcycle. Set menu in the restaurant was delicious and breakfast in the garden was great.

Our room in the attic was uncomfortably warm, an electric fan would have made it better.

Although the building was medieval there was no lack of moderate luxury with romantic setting.

It was romantically beautiful with well made breakfast. The rm was very comfortable and location exquisite.

The love of the owners for their home was infectious. Would definitely revisit.

The ambience and the wonderful history within the walls. What stories they could tell. Our room Le Curieuse was lovely. Pity the weather stopped us using the terrace. The log fire in the dining room was so welcoming. I absolutely loved the art work in the public spaces and in our room. We ate the charcuterie and cheese menu which was unique and delicious. I recommend this property unreservedly for anyone with a sense of history and an appreciation of the work and efforts that Marine and her husband have put into restoring and maintaining this beautiful gem.

Maybe it would be possible to include the cost of breakfast in the room price.

Relaxing accommodation in a charming historic setting

Excellent historic building sympathetically restored with a beautiful relaxing garden and generous shared facilities. Owners helpful and friendly.

Lack of storage facilities in the bedroom and bathroom. Poorly designed shower enclosure that retained the spray. In-house dinning poor value for money. Oven not working and lack of kitchen utensils.

Superb stay

Absolutely superb stay. A very warm welcome. Plenty of parking and lovely gardens to walk around. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly, the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. We had the set evening meal which was absolutely delicious. We also stayed for breakfast. Again , very delicious and the best breakfast we had during our 6 days in France. The croissants were amazing. We will definitely return.

Probably the best choice in Southwestern Brittany

The breakfast is very wide in choices; I would have preferred just a great croissant and a baguette with butter and jam, but perhaps Brittany does things its own way. Lovely grounds and building. Quiet. Convenient location.

A little gem !

Charming comfortable hotel with beautiful gardens. Such helpful and welcoming proprietors and staff, who went out of their way to help us with a problem with our car- we are so grateful to them. Exceptional breakfast - variety of fresh fruit, yoghurts, breads and pastries with eggs cooked to order. A truly excellent place to stay.

Un soggiorno troppo breve in un angolo di paradiso

Abbiamo soggiornato ieri al Manoir du Moustoir La struttura è incantevole con i suoi giardini curatissimi e l’edificio perfettamente mantenuto. Le camere sono pulite e ben arredate e i servizi nuovi. Ieri era giovedì e abbiamo approfittato della cena all’aperto nel giardino in uno scenario da favola. Marine, Julie e tutto lo staff sono persone estremamente simpatiche e accoglienti oltre che professionali. L’unico dispiacere essere rimasti troppo poco! Se dovessimo tornare in Bretagna torneremo di sicuro!

L’accueil tellement souriant , le lieu, tout est fait pour que l’on s’y sente bien. J’avais peur d’avoir froid, mais pas du tout, même si tôt dans la saison le chauffage était allumé et surtout le feu de cheminé au petit déjeuner, un pur bonheur.
